Lifestyle Asia May issue… Tresor’s store address “debut” :D

I finally got a copy of Lifestyle Asia’s May issue. The cover features 2 people whose style I really admire– Imee Marcos, and Daphne Oseña Paez. These two women have been able to pull off just about any article of clothing effortlessly. I’ve never seen them have a “bad day”. They could cover themselves up in cheesecloth and they’d still look uber chic! *For that, I’m sooooo greeen with envyyyyy!* 🙂

Dang, I wish I had that kinda style, but alas, I grew up browsing through shops of the 80s (more is more and the more Madonna or “footballer” *and I ain’t talking Beckham* you look, the better hahaha)– ahhh and yes, you know these shops *and don’t deny it*. My friend and the woman behind Tinsley, EAI, and I were up talking about this late last night *or rather early morning*. We were laughing so impossibly hard reminiscing about the 80s shops– the Lawrd-Almighty shops with colorful “football” outfits abound *muwahahaha shoulder pads!!! Pack em, stack em, wear em! Hut, hut, hut!!*. Ok, if you have just pretended to have amnesia *forgetting that you were once also a shoulder-padded outfit wearing hag*, let me refreshen your memory (and again, mind you, these shops were oh-so-chic back then hehe… feel free to contribute to this list!!). Remember browsing through the racks of Monakiki, Kirei, Krista, Karimadon, Vida Doria? (Psst, *haughty look hehehe* If you MuSt know where I got “exposed” to these shops, I was already a chic *puke* shopper at North Edsa– YES, even before the newly built TriNoMa came into the area. Weekends were once spent at that SM North Edsa Mall, oye. I grew up as a friggin’ SM North Edsa Mallrat. :D). I laughed my bootie off last night as we were enumerating stores one by one. And oh yeah let’s not forget the following footwear boutiques *the 80s version of “designer” footwear* that were right on the money: Le Donne (which is still alive, woohoo!), Cardams, Ohrelle!, Rusty Lopez *hehe MY choice of school footwear, oye I was so proud of those shoes!!* Oh Lawrd. Back in the *ahem* older days, we were not really THAT jaded. Manila Blahniks (not Manolo) *thanks to Celine Lopez who coined that term, ‘Manila Blahnik’ haha* were good enough for our feet. Ok, reality check. What happened to us? Aren’t these old brands good enough for our lil piggies anymore??? Ok I don’t want to answer that because I will just end up with this conclusion– I have become a certified label whore (Aww crud. I do have Caviar tastes. Only I have a fishball budget… *bawl*). Solution: I gotta go back to worrrrrk *OCW/OFW*… Why oh why doesn’t anyone want to hire this baghag? *snicker.. thebaghag= company liability* Muwahahaha..

Ok so wait wait, I’ve veered off from the original title of this post, heavens! Pardon the scatterbrained baghag– lotsa things on my mind. Store opens on MONDAY and we– woops, I mean, I, am not really ready yet *big sob*. But anyway, Lifestyle Asia’s May issue with the cover above gave away our store address already 😀 Lifestyle Asia’s TintinAbu wrote a thorough article about bags as investment pieces *do any of those bags in the article look familiar? Wink wink! Phoooey Mrs.T= braggart baghag wannabe again! haha*, and mentioned that Tresor is opening shop 🙂 Thanks so much for the very informative article and for plugging the whereabouts of our new store 🙂

TRESORIE (the name of our store) featuring Tresor, Tinsley, and D! Luxe is located at the 2nd Floor of Doña Consolacion Bldg, 122 Jupiter Street, Bel-Air Makati City. The Building is where the flagship store of Nullah is located. (The building is exactly located between Red Ribbon and Frank Provost).

There won’t be fireworks or any party on Monday– Monday is sortof a dry run/ soft opening for us. So please don’t expect to be served tea and crumpets just yet *or rather hors d’oeurves and champagne if you want to be French about it haha..*. We will definitely be giving this a shot first, get our system up and when we are already comfy with the way things run, then we’ll talk about that “part-tayy” *party*.

Please, please do text me if you plan to visit us on Monday! And also, APPLEGARDE leather kits can be picked up there. I will be bringing the batch there (although it ain’t really part of the shop yet haha). Those leather kits are limited, so hurry hurry and come on Monday! We open by NOON, 12pm 😀 I’m really looking forward to seeing a lot of you there– and please, introduce yourself! *psst, don’t worry, no obligation to buy anything from Tresor (but I hope you support D!Luxe and Tinsley :D), so don’t stress yourself (or your wallet) out haha*
