Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball… The Clothes!

Let me not critique Lady Gaga’s concert and whatever controversies it has brought into the Philippines. I’m not about to go into some kind of religious debate about her or her songs. Honestly, I was only too grateful and happy to be invited to watch and be in the company of my friends Daphne and Pleshette  (thanks for inviting me, Smart!). And it was my first time to watch a concert from the mosh pit 🙂 It was quite fun, actually 🙂
A few weeks (or was it months) ago, I was excited to receive word that Lady Gaga would be wearing Giorgio Armani on her tour.

I was really hoping to see her performance outfits up close and so stoked that I got to see them 🙂 She was also to wear Versace as well as Moschino, as reported. Too happy to see them all up close. It was surreal! And of course, I really got to see with my own eyes what an incredibly talented performer she really is. For some reason, she reminded me of Madonna (Daphne also said the same thing), and she really sounded like Madonna in some of her songs!

Anyway, enough talk about how good she is (a lot of us already know that). I ended up taking more photos of her than dancing to her songs LOL. I want to share those photos I took with you all now on this post. Hope you enjoy them 🙂

Giorgio Armani x Lady Gaga!

Recorded this opening song so I didn’t get a proper photo. This was a still grabbed from my video

 Born this way

She said to everyone “I am not an alien.”   🙂

The sleeves! Reminiscent of the Philippine national costume– the terno with butterfly sleeves 🙂

Origamic!

Liberty Lady!

She shed some tears

Played the keyboard on her motorcycle which had the Philippine flag in the back 🙂

She rocked it!

Remember the meat dress she wore a few award seasons ago? This is the washable-more wearable- not edible version 🙂

Alejandro. She’s got the more… “violent” version of the Madonna bra 🙂

Dance Dance Dance! See all those studs? 🙂

Versace Rapunzel 🙂

It was truly a visual feast. She is remarkable and is a genuinely incredible artist. And oh the outfits… sigh 🙂
