January Sanrio Reveals!

I wanted to do a relatively “inexpensive” post today, seeing that the last few bag posts I’ve done have been costing us our virtual money in our virtual wallets 😀
So let me reveal some things I got over the holidays. On their own, they’re not really THAT expensive, but I guess when you start piling things up on that little shopping basket, they do add up and you get sticker shock when the cashier starts ringing up your purchases– like your mouth gapes wide open and you end up looking like a moron *which was what I ended up looking like while the cashier went through my loot hahahaha* Yes, imagine it! And then I started to sound like a bumbling idiot trying to “justify” the purchase because most adults were at Sanrio to buy things for their daughters or nieces. Hah, I went and bought all those FOR MEEEEEE! (Selfisssssh!!! hahaha)*

Tuxedo Sam! Lots of Tuxedo merchandise! I squealed with delight when I saw these plush toys because for the longest time, I’ve been looking all over for them! And then there’s the super cute Hello Kitty wearing a Tuxedo Sam outfit 🙂 *I get all giggly when I see this one teehee* And then the Little Twin Stars mini coin pouch, Twin Star Calculator *I wish I can still find my old Hello Kitty calculator!*, Hello Kitty scissors (I used to have one just like this– my 2nd DB stole it *yes, imagine he stole it from me, and all the while I had thought I lost it! I went on with my life thinking it was LOST only to find out some years ago that he took it from me when I was in primary school *!!!* and is still using it today lol– and no, he is still not handing it back to me as of December 2010*, and just for reference, my super favorite Hello Kitty watch. Oh and I also bought that Hello Kitty and Friends towel which I used as background. 🙂 I found it too cute to resist. Now the dilemma is whether to use it or not! Hahaha hoarder!
And then 2 bags that I got as gifts:
DSIL bought me this Little Twin Stars bag in Sanrio, Japan. Too cute!!

Bling gal Jenny Dizon got me this HK tote recently.  Looove! Thanks Jenny! 🙂

And then this! A baby blanket *Noooo, I am not expecting hahaha*. I just loved it so much– I will actually use this in my bed. I have this thing for baby blankets. Believe it or not, I still had my baby blanket *my nana managed to keep it all those years* with me until Y2K. I left that semi- rotting blanket in my room at my parents’ home and well, mom has since turned my room into her walk- in closet, so I have never seen my baby blanket again *boohoo– I remember my mom hiding it from me a few times and telling me she threw it away because it was so old. Oh boy you should’ve seen me tearing up each time without fail! I was such a baaaaaby!!*
This blanket is actually reversible- there’s a different print of Lala and Kiki in the back too 🙂
So there, my loot, plus 2 new totes which were gifts. I totally appreciate these little Sanrio things more than anything lately, though I’m afraid I’d be accumulating way too much of them one day hahaha *and I’ll open a Sanrio museum then! Tsk lol :D*
I’m going to be using a lot of my Sanrio totes for going out this month, and of course my Hello Kitty watch which I missed big time because I left it back home when I went for my vacation!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post 😉 Tell me which are your favorite Sanrio characters! I can already tell you mine: Tuxedo Sam, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Twin Stars. You know though, I wish Sanrio would re-issue those old 3D character watches (like my Hello Kitty watch). I wouldn’t even hesitate to wear them for any occasion! It’s my way of reminding myself of the wonderful childhood I had with my Sanrio merchandise 🙂 *Thanks to my Mommy for that!!*

P.S. Speaking of presents, I’d like to thank Chrome Hearts, Louis Vuitton, Furla, the SSI group for my lovely presents. It’s such a lovely surprise to come home to them 🙂
