Iora: A Fashion Event

I was too pooped to blog last night– I was up by 5am, out of the house by 6am, and back home at 1am after a night of fun with the girls 😉 *Besides, I had trouble getting on blogger last night– again!! What’s up with that?! Mercury retrograde?!* But today, it’s blogging time again 🙂

Over lunch at The Pen a few days ago, the Singaporean clothing brand, Iora, was launched.

Iora is actually not new to the Philippine market. Iora has, in fact, been in the Philippines for four years already. The brand which remained relatively under the radar, came out with a big bang at the press launch, with the Singaporean owner and founder along with his team attending the event.
And for me of course, it was again a meeting of friends and colleagues *although they hold the real cool jobs, and well, I…. don’t hahaha* 🙂 Sat with LizaIC, said hello to

PaulineSJ, the über chic EIC of Preview Magazine

My soon-to-be neighbor at Rockwell, C2′s Rhett Eala *Can’t wait to get more Pilipinas shirts!!!*

Seatmates Zelda and Stephanie

Former college classmate AnnaC , with JaneM

CedricC with the show’s director, Robbie Carmona

Philippine franchise owners Monette Bata Garcia (with the mic) and Anabelle Tiu Cuazon
After a brief introduction, the presentation of the clothes of Iora.

I was seated way in front, but my camera didn’t seem to want to cooperate 🙁 So I only got wide shots. *Ugh* 🙁I like the overall look of this outfit

I can see me wearing this! Loooove it!!!!!

This is how I really want to look everyday. Or this.Ok that’s it. I’m sooo going to pay Iora a visit later 🙂

Asymmetrical- casual and dressy at the same time– this outfit swings both ways 🙂

I love those pants. Look at how they “sway”

This is sooo Sarah Jessica Parker for Sex and the City 🙂Looks great on the model too!

I’d love to wear this for days when I just want to sit back, relax, and “lounge” 🙂

A last look at the show’s collection of Iora
Taking a bow, the owner and founder of Iora, Ng Leng San *who kinda looks like Emerson Yao at first glance!*, with head designer Jayne Koh

Iora is available at Glorietta, Mall of Asia, Rustan’s Tower (Shangrila), SM Makati, Trinoma, SM Megamall, Ayala Cebu, SM Cebu, and also at its outlet store in Libis, Quezon City.
