Hong Kong Shopping, May 2010

Hong Kong was indeed a blast. I didn’t get to do any shopping for myself throughout the trip (all I saw were Disneyland, Toy Museum in Prince Bldg, Wise Kids also in Prince Building, and Toys R Us)– except only at the time we did the early check-in at Hong Kong Station. We were able to wander around the halls of the IFC Mall.

And I saw these.

Look at Prada’s latest totes! I am looooving them 🙂 Yes, florals for Spring are STILL groundbreaking  🙂 *and Le diable wears Prada :D*  These are must-haves for Spring/ Summer. I can’t wait to check these bags out at Prada Greenbelt 4.

I was able to do a little shoe shopping with DK in Lane Crawford, IFC. Narrowed down the shoe choices to these two.
Both pairs were not cheap– the flat oxfords were by Ralph Lauren, while the heeled oxfords were by Tabitha Simmons. Tabitha Simmons’ shoes were twice the price of the RL oxfords, by the way *eeks!*
Here’s another look. Tabitha Simmons is incidentally also carried by my lovely advertiser, LUISAVIAROMA.COM

I swore I was not going to regret not buying another pair of shoes I love. It’s actually good to know that Lane Crawford’s not the only store that carries it. I don’t really know how you peeps feel about these shoes, but I looove them. And to tell you frankly, they were so comfortable on the feet. Like walking on air– which probably explains why Simmons’ shoes are really expensive and not for the faint of heart (and of pocket)! 🙁
On another note, I saw the Alexander Wang Coco Mini Duffel Bag at Lane Crawford.
I  especially loved the latest version of this exact same bag above (photo from net-a-porter)– it had laser- cut leather strips as its body (as opposed to a plain leather body).
There also was a really cute Thomas Wylde satchel in cream with a multitude of little skull studs throughout its body. I *almost* bought it. But yes, I had self- control, so no I didn’t walk away with it :D. *Sorry no photo because I had to handle DK and work with our carry-on luggage. And it was impossible to take shots with all the sales people around us* 🙁
I also saw a lot of Proenza Schouler PS1 bags– in different colors too. They even had it in a very striking shade of yellow (it was sooooo nice!!). They don’t have Mulberry Alexa there though, so to those who want them, you should try your luck again at  LUISAVIAROMA.COM — a few hours ago, I checked and there was ONE Oversized Alexa available in Ink!! So try your luck again! Meanwhile I’m off to scour for more of the “good stuff” 😀
And this, was my shopping report for now 🙂 I hope you all had a great Monday 🙂
