Hermes Saint- Honoré in October

In less than 2 weeks, it’s Halloween!  I thought I should post a few photos of what the vitrines of Hermes along Rue du Faubourg Saint- Honoré look like in October 🙂
A bountiful harvest at the main window! Isn’t this pumpkin- print Bolide just perfect for October? 🙂

The Great Pumpkin!

It’s almost like Hermes pre-empted the fresh produce craze at Moschino and at Dolce & Gabbana for SS 2012 🙂

Ahh well, the Hermes post is not complete without some exotics, yes?

Purple Envy!

That purple Kelly is just sinful. I am so bowled over by its beauty! Love that it’s bi- color too! And the jige clutch is also quite a sight for sore purple eyes 🙂

Optical illusion of sorts on this Hermes Kelly. If I stare at it for a longer period of time, I wonder what images will pop out of that 🙂

3D Images?
The bags/ things on display in the vitrines are not for sale– a lot of them are not even commercially produced for clients. But I believe you can special order that crocodile bi- colored Kelly and the Jige clutch. The only question is when they will accept special orders again. I guess it also boils down to being at the right place at the right time. And oh, once a special order is placed, the bag is really worth the wait!
Time to visit your nearest Hermes boutique to ask about that, or just to find out what bags they have available now. Christmas isn’t so far away, you know? And you deserve to treat yourself to something nice  🙂
