Hermes Fleurs d’ Indiennes Silk Event

Shame on me. I was late in picking up Lifestyle Asia Magazine’s Cheryl Tiu and that caused us to be tardy at the Hermes Fleurs d’ Indiennes Silk event. Eeps!!

When we got there, Bianca Valerio (left) was already in the middle of a presentation, as model Valerie delos Santos (right) got busy demonstrating the many uses of the beautiful Hermes silk scarf.

Valerie used it as an accent to the Jypsiere

The scarf can also be used as a bag! ๐Ÿ™‚

Or a top ๐Ÿ™‚

Or you can tie 2 scarves together and just wear a bodysuit underneath

And voila, new look! C’est trés chic!

After the scarf presentation was over, we were called one by one to demonstrate what we could do with the Hermes scarf.

Thank you for taking this photo, Cheryl!

Since I was late, I had to improvise and think of a way to work the scarf. So I knotted the middle part of the scarf and made it into a top ๐Ÿ˜€  Didn’t turn out exactly the way I wanted because I didn’t knot the midsection properly, but haha, everyone got the picture ๐Ÿ™‚ *I didn’t really embarrass myself… at least I didn’t think I did hahaha*

Seen at this Press- only event were Lifestyle Asia Magazine (LA)  Editor- in- Chief Anna Sobrepeña with my lovely neighbor and LA’s Managing Editor Cheryl Tiu

I love the scarf on Anna! So beautiful!
Look Magazine Editor-in-Chief and my former Weddings magazine colleague Mel Cuevas with Hermes’ Mario Katigbak. Always happy to see Mel ๐Ÿ™‚
Mario looks dapper in his suit!

Manila Bulletin’s Melo Esguerra who rocked a gorgeous Tod’s D bag!

Town and Country editors Rorie Carlos and Yvette Fernandez
Against the backdrop of the Fleurs d’ Indiennes… beautiful!!!
Boo, was not able to take a photo of Arnel and Hector of Sense and Style Magazine as well as the other editors and peeps who attended ๐Ÿ™

But while I was there, I took some random shots of the new merchandise. I was literally drooling and I had to stop myself from doing so ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
Crocodile picotin and Kelly wallet! These babies are well- worth their prices! Crocodile skins that Hermes use are flawless and are only of the very, very best!

There was a crocodile lindy in vert anis in- store, so if you feel a crocodile birkin or kelly is not for you, the lindy is an excellent alternative. And the color of that lindy is really superb!

There’s always something at Hermes for everybody. If you can’t afford a bag just yet, may I recommend a bottle of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil for you? It’s my favorite scent to date ๐Ÿ™‚  And that bottle lasts a loooong time too ๐Ÿ™‚

And of course, if you want a bag, here’s a plethora of styles to choose from!

You’ve got the Victoria, the Lindy, the Evelyne, the Bolide, the Jypsiere, and the Toolbox (my recent favorite!!!). I love the Toolbox because it has 2 different looks! This is really a bag worth considering, baghags. You don’t have to get the birkin or the kelly. These are the perfect Hermes bags right there in the photo!

It was a very successful event. Mario Katigbak and his team are as always, so accommodating! It’s no surprise that Hermes Manila is in top form! ๐Ÿ™‚ Congratulations Hermes! And thank you for my gorgeous green scarf! What a nice early birthday present ๐Ÿ™‚
P.S. Peeps, tomorrow is my birthday, and I have a small giveaway on Twitter.com/thebaghag + Facebook.com/thebaghag tomorrow, so watch this space ๐Ÿ™‚
