Ack! I got an email from my SA today with a photo of the Goyard Saigon. I am bowled over once more.
Did I say I don’t like black? *Innocent look hehe* Well this bag, has just made me change my mind!! The Saigon was also apparently featured in Vogue, so the folks over at Barney’s were making brisk sales on this style (ugh and it’s not even on the barneys.com site! *appalled look*).
I love this bag look because it resembles an Hermes Kelly! oh lust lust lust!!! (I know, I know, some of you might think the bag looks better on a “mature” woman– but hello, I am matronly enough for this baby!!! *muwahaha* Don’t you already know I want to achieve that “ladies who lunch” look? 😀 )
My SA left out one thing in the email– the price of the bag!
So I will update you hags on this as soon as I get the price. I’m already heading Stateside this weekend, so let me know if any of you are interested in having me buy a bag on your behalf.
P.S. Not only am I lusting for that Goyard Saigon *large please! Big bags look, remember?*, I am also lusting for a Green croisiere with custom stripes in ivory and orange! *Gulp so much for my 1 month long bag purchase abstinence!*
P.P.S. Hermes San Francisco has a 35cm Crocodile black birkin with DIAMONDS on the hardware for a hefty (err pardon that… make it SUPER HEFTY) price tag of US$148,000!!! Yup you saw that right. ONE HUNDRED FORTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS *and that my dear hags, doesn’t even include sales tax YET!!* That’s gotta be the most expensive bag in the world! And hopefully when I get to SF, I can still catch a glimpse of that bag!! (Doubt anyone would be crazy enough to buy that bag… ok I’m wrong. There are crazy rich people who would buy that bag 😀 Meanwhile, we bag minions can only drool!)

My SA showed me that bag when it was in the SCP store. It was about $20,000- more back in July and have been offered to their VIP clients. It seems that it is making its rounds over H stores in the US until it finds its owner. The bag itself had a beautiful, uniform scales which I admired the most. With the price, they could have used platinum instead of 18K WG for the metal hardware.

Hello Mrs. T! I was lucky enough to see the beautiful Goyard Saigon bag in person! The GM Saigon will set you back $2800. Gah! But it sure would be worth every penny =)
