Goyard San Francisco 2009

I made a quick stop at Goyard San Francisco some days ago before I flew back to Manila. Just in time before the store closed. So as promised, here are some photos of the show windows.

With the current state tax hike (already close to 10%!!!) in San Francisco, it was becoming increasingly difficult plain difficult to conceive spending moolah on luxury goods downtown. I wonder how the native San Franciscans feel about the tax hike. I, for one, am not too thrilled. But it did save me money!

They were out of the popular styles (as expected). I reckon they’d have some stock at Barney’s (but I failed to check). But here are the bags that they have in- stock.
Ah well, it’s still nice to come by and visit this boutique. It has been a year since I last set foot into the shop! 😉 And yes, I still love Goyard 🙂

  1. i love goyard too! compared to LV, it’s as classy but more exclusive and not so ‘screaming monogram in your face.’

  2. Hi Mrs T

I’ve been reading your blog everyday for the past year and a half when I first started researching Goyard, I’m now up to four pieces. How many different pieces have had in your collection over the years if you don’t mind me asking?

  3. @ anon re: goyard styles: i have croisiere, jeanne, st louis, and fidji. p.s. why dont you leave your name instead of being “anonymous”

@ leah: thanks for that leah!!

@ appledumplings: agree! it takes a little bit of getting used to 🙂

@ browneyedgirl: agreee 🙂 but that said, i also like LV hahaha!

    @ PBB: Saaave :D!!

  4. Hi Mrs. T. was there a st. louis when you visited their boutique in sanfo? do you know the current price of the st. louis? thanks in advance!

  5. hi mrs t,

ok, so i was back in calgary 3 months ago and my next door neighbor was having a moving garage sale where i found a goyard jeanne GM for $20!!! yes, that’s $20. he said it belonged to his ex wife. long story… anyway, it has personalized stripes and what seemed to be initials. the initials were erased, does not look too bad, can barely see it, unless you’re looking for it. it looked authentic and i figured, i can afford $20, real or not.
does the paris store do erasing? or was i duped? do they do re-painting?
