Friday the 13th: All Hail McQueen!

I just couldn’t resist posting a Friday the 13th themed bag day! And of course, bags have to be  from Alexander McQueen. Don’t know why, but I thought his bags would be befitting of a Friday the 13th post 🙂

I love McQueen clutches. I’ve been longing to get one but I keep getting sidetracked by other things. This time, I will really save up for one. I like this black/ white just because I think it’ll be easiest to carry with practically any dress/ outfit.

And then there’s this. McQueen once had the Union Jack clutch which I really, really, really wanted to buy while we were in London– he had just passed on that time, and all his clutches were sold out. I am liking this one too because it is signature McQueen, though I still think I’ll save up for the classic Union Jack one. This is real nice though– and I love the rocker chic vibe of this bag!

For those who can’t seem to spend on a clutch (because honestly, it’s just not as practical and “economical” as a more “utilitarian” bag), there’s McQueen’s Faithful satchel which looks like a marriage of the signature Balenciaga bag, a Proenza PS1, and a Mulberry Alexa! To be honest with you, I am really liking this bag! I wouldn’t mind having one in this color either! And as with the PS1, Motorcycle, Alexa, this bag will for sure be another “easy- to- carry” piece! It’s a must- have! 🙂
