Food Blog: Benjarong at Dusit Hotel

Our post- DaphnePaez bedsheet launch dinner was held at Benjarong, at the Dusit Hotel.

My DM hosted the dinner for 6, which included me, DinaV of D!Luxe, Kat and StanC of K&Company, and DaphneP.

We ordered quickly coz we were all hungry 🙂

Catfish Salad with Green Mangoes was really good (Hehehe– we were so hungry that we just dug in and I totally forgot about taking photos!)

Pad Thai
Tom Yum Gung
Fish (I honestly didn’t get to try this… I wasn’t really in the mood for fish)
Shrimp Green Curry (Veryyy spicy but SOOO good)
Pineapple RiceI shouldn’t be eating carbs because I have temporarily stopped doing bikram yoga, but this was too good to miss. It’s worth another muffintop layer *hehehe*

Very, very good Sparerib dish– the meat was extremely tender. This dish is worth coming back for.
Crud, I totally underestimated this vegetable dish so I didn’t take a photo of it when it was presented. When we all dug in and tasted how good it was, that was when I whipped out my camera *with the dying battery* to take this shot. I’d definitely come back to Benjarong to have this dish.

We also ordered Pandan chicken (alas my battery died). StanC said this was excellent as well– and I trust this foodie’s “taste” when it comes to what else, food 🙂

Overall, I can say this– while the dishes at Benjarong are pricey, they were thoroughly enjoyed and are definitely worth every penny. This is one Thai restaurant I’d definitely keep coming back to when I feel like having Thai!

This baghag’s really one lucky Jackie! I not only got to take home free DaphnePaez bedsheets, I also got to eat at Benjarong for free– all compliments of DM! 🙂 Thanks a lot, dear Mumsie! *Hugs* Hehehe Mrs.T isn’t called Jackpot for nothing 😀
