Fly me to Bangkok!! *And a jawdropping photo!*

*Plop downs the chair… Boy am I tired!* After I got home from a looooong day, I got a text from ImeeM saying that she too, will be in Bangkok during the time we’re there. Coooool, we get to eat, eat, eat! 🙂 *Tsk tsk, you see, I bring my social mountains with me wherever I go and off to social climb I go again– ain’t no mountain high enough baby! Hehehe :)*

Anyway, I can’t blog mucho now. It’s 2.30am and I need to take a quick shower before hopping off to bed. I have a good 3 hours of shuteye before DH wakes me up again. Confession: I’m always the last one to wake up in the whole household. Well Duh, I am always the last person to sleep too! So don’t give me that dirty look that I’m such an irresponsible parent/wife *cough cough guiiiiiltyyyyyyyyyy hehehe*

Since I’ll be with the kiddies, I am using my Goyard St.Louis PM. (Sorry no more photo since I packed away my camera cable… I PLAN to blog in Bangkok WoOHooOo!!). What’s inside the bag? 5 passports in their respective “folders”, my wallet, a bag of cookies, a bag of gummi bears, my camera (which I realllly need to replace already since it always smokes when I use the flash *muwahaha I am too cheap to buy me a new one…. sigh I wish I can win a kickbootie camera!!*), some sticks of gum, my medicine pouch, baby wipes, my 2 phones, my ipod (like I’d have the time to listen to that still haha), a thick wad of paper and coloring book for the kids, and a 12-color twisty crayon set. I still have to put in my DT’s water bottle as well as extra clothes on it. How does the bag hold up? Just dandy 🙂 And mind you, this ain’t the first time the bag gets abused and abused 😀 Tsk, I must say this– I already got my money’s worth for this bag. It’s done so much work for me, and thank goodness it still has no plans to retire 🙂

Now before I end my last post in Manila, *woohoo next post in Bangkok!* let’s talk bags again. I saw these Resort bags that looked yummy enough to be test driven! *Scream!!! I need a 5 year financial plan NOW!!!*

Dolce & Gabbana Martello Buckle Bag. Could it be because of the leather of the bag? Or could it be because of the fold-over flap closure detail that appealed to me? This is from the Resort 2007 collection and the bag just screams resort chic! I must, must, must go check this bag out in Bangkok! It’s purdyyyy! US$1,450 at Saksfifthavenue.com

Now, this Gucci Pelham Shoulder Bag in Green Flora canvas print screams resort chic as well. When I see this bag, I am reminded of Katie Holmes- Cruise wearing a Gucci halter top in that exact same print. She was wearing that top with white cotton pants (Hmm were they cotton? just a guess… maybe they’re jeans), and carried a YSL ostrich Rive Gauche bag (as a diaper bag!! How cool is that?!!!) while also carrying Baby Suri. Too chic! Going back to this Pelham bag, I think the only issue I have with the bag is the lightness of the cowhide straps against the canvas green… maybe I’m just being weird but I actually thought the colors don’t sit too well together (but then again, maybe if it were darker brown, it wouldn’t have looked as good)… But sigh, the idea of the bag is something I likey! Okie peeps, it’s time to go for now. I ended up with a post tonight because I wanted to dedicate this one to MG 😀 You have officially just gotten your daily dose of the baghag’s shallowness 😀

P.S. One for the road. Since you all know how much I looove to look at all things expensive and beautiful *seriously, don’t we all?*, I was browsing thru Christie’s site and came across this magnificent 9 carat++ fancy bluish gray diamond ring. *MAJOR JAWDROP!!!* I gasped because there was no price estimate for this. Only the words “Price estimate upon request” was indicated. *Woflwhistle*. I wonder who would walk away with this sparkling beauty come auction day!

That’s all 🙂

xx
