Fendi and The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Singapore

The Singapore-for-Fendi trip is still very fresh on my mind. Apart from having seen the most exquisite Fendi Baguettes (especially those 6 limited re-edition ones), the experience I had while staying at the Fullerton Bay Hotel was unparalled that I cannot not write about it.
It was funny, but when I was just about to check into the hotel, the lovely ladies at the reception mentioned my name right away without my even having to bring out my passport for them to know who I was (how they knew that I still have no idea). I was blown away with their service.
I was led to my suite with a view shortly after I was checked in– it took less than 2 minutes for the check- in, for serious. And when I got to the room, this was what greeted me.

The room was fantastic, with a balcony that had this amazing, unobstructed view of Marina Bay Sands!

I was already thinking I would be writing my blog entries by the balcony lounge chair.  🙂  Heck, even my bath tub has the view of Marina Bay Sands 🙂

And Fendi made sure there were special touches 🙂 I was being dressed for the Fendi event that evening and the shoes were already laid out for me 🙂

And the beautiful orange Fendi dress to go along with my vintage orange Fendi Baguette 🙂

I wasn’t even done with admiring my room when someone rang the bell and brought over fruits and sweets, with a bottle of wine for two. What a treat!

The personal note from Fullerton Bay Hotel’s general manager, Giovanni, definitely served its purpose of impressing me further– this was not some mass- printed welcome note. It was handwritten. Plus points!

I barely recall the last time I received a handwritten note from the GM of a large (not boutique) hotel in Asia.

Thank you Fendi Asia team, and thank you Giovanni and the Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore for the very warm welcome I received while in the Lion City! I can’t wait to be back for another visit!
