Fathers’ Day gifts FOR the baghags… *wink*

HOLY CRAP. So Fathers’ Day happens to fall on June 17– MY birthday. Crudddd!! Does that mean DH will tell me not to buy him a gift anymore, as long as I’m ok with not getting anything for my birthday? *muwahaha baaaaaaaaaaaad “equalizer”!!* NAW!!! I.Can’t.Accept.That. *dirty look (helllooo materialistic baghag, rememberrrr???)*. A birthday is still a birthday and should be more of the priority than the universal fathers’ day (selfish baghag talking!). So here’s the deal with my DH. He asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I still couldn’t answer… I’m faking not knowing what I want (obviously)! Truth is, (and you read it here first) I’d love for my Goyard silver croisiere to be paid for hahaha… Ok now THAT is selfish… I can’t imagine handing over the $3k bill to him… He’d go ballistic 😀 *hehe people would pay to see DH go ballistic coz he’s so nice and just doesn’t go psycho like I do* Hehehe… ok I don’t want to abuse the goodness of kind people so I won’t ask DH for that bag…. *snort* (Mrs.T is indeed selfish and “user” friendly… haha get it? Crap does that mean I have to go and do real work again to be able to pay for that bag? *gag* hehe I’m such a brat!). DH has actually offered to buy me a camera *eh??*. As the lady behind thefashpack (whom I ran into last weekend at Serendra) said, “Gifts from the hubby? Say no to anything that has batteries, wires, things that light up…” in other words, NO to electronics!!!! *muwahaha we’ll take “wires” if it’s jewelry wires we’re talking about hahaha*

Anyyyway, don’t ask me what I am doing for my birthday. I think I might be working *sniff no day off for this “working” girl*. A group of Belgian press peeps are flying in to interview Mrs.M and yep, guess who’s the Go-to girl 😀 That aside, I do hope I at least get the chance to spend Fathers’ Day with DH and my kiddies… perhaps even pay my Dad a visit at the cemetery, or at least say a nice prayer for him because he was really the best Daddy in the whole wide world 🙂

So!!! Who’s ever heard of asking for a new bag on Fathers’ Day??? *Beams* 😀 Since Hallmark came up with days like these (DH says “it’s just a silly marketing scheme to squeeze more money out of people” so let me make this worth his while.. and YOU CAN TOO!! haha), why not ask him (him = hubby, daddy… haha) to give (as in be generous) for Fathers’ Day? 🙂 *ok, we bag people will think of EVERYTHING just to get a new bag*. Generosity leads to happiness, doesn’t it? Put it this way, if you “give”, it gives you some kind of satisfaction knowing that the recipient is happy to receive what you have given. So translate that sense of satisfaction into some sort of happiness! Giving makes you happy 🙂 So let your DH give you a new bag for Fathers’ Day! *I’m sooo proud of myself for thinking this* Boy, this is really twisted *muwahaha and don’t I know it!!*. Simply put, it’s called reverse psychology. *Big muwahahaha…. conniving and calculating baghag on the loose! Warning warning!!*

Kooba Charlie Pleated Gold Linen Duffle. If your DH/ dad doesn’t have the budget for a Miu Miu, this bag might just be a good second (even if the bag’s just made of linen). Marc Jacobs Julianne Ruched Bag. Is everyone trying to cash in on the Miu Miu/ Prada ruched bag/ Chanel quilted style? It’s still ruched ruched ruched everywhere peeps! And Marc Jacobs too didn’t get left behind this ruched/ quilted bagpack. Priced at £765, would you want this over the Miu Miu? That shoulder strap reminds me of them velvet ropes (worse, large intestines haha eeeew). But oh heck, someone’s bound to like this. After all, Marc Jacobs is still pretty cool. I wouldn’t buy this though, but I sure wouldn’t mind if I get this as a present (although I admit I’d probably try to cut off that intestinal shoulder strap haha). Available at brownsfashion.com

In “bag” closing, I think your best bet for a Fathers’ Day pressie for you is that LV monogram canvas Neverfull MM bag. It’s gotta be the best bag– value for money. But hey, again, LV reps are saying that the Neverfull bag is NOT meant to be reversed. 🙂 And if your Dad/DH has some more ca-ching ca-ching *aka money* to spare, get that Lanvin white Kansas tote that I am lusting for. It’s too pretty to be ignored!! 🙂

On another note, is it just me, or was it really such a hot day yesterday? I just HAD to wear my 500 peso muu muus (psst, I channeled total matronista and I looooved it haha) in the heat… Yeah smart move. I was fashion victim personified– and darnit, I was PROUD! 😀 I’m loving my matron-fashion look. (Mrs.T= wannabe taitai/ matron hehe). Today I will attempt to look more my age 😀 (whatever!)
