Tonight was the second night of festivities (and the first for us) at Escolta. No, we didn’t drive all the way to Manila. We just walked to Escolta— in Makati 🙂 *Yes, we walked!! wooohooo!!!*
Escolta is The Peninsula Manila’s newest restaurant/ cafe– once known as Nielsen’s. DH and I were so late when we got there because this baghag had to work, work, work. I was not even able to make it to Wynn Wynn Ong’s affair at Firma (which I would’ve really loved to attend if I didn’t have to do overtime at work *hehehe yes, I did “OT” hehehe). And I also missed Ito Kish’s store relaunch (bigger space!!) at the LRI Plaza. 🙁 *Congratulations to both Wynn Wynn and to Ito!*
We arrived Escolta at almost 9pm. The place was still so busy, with SO many guests milling about, having cocktails and some seriously yummy food. I had my camera in my clutch for awhile before I remembered to take it out for photos *DUH*. (I am getting olderrrrrr). It was especially hard to take photos with a plate in one hand, and the clutch in the other. *tsk, Mrs.T multi-tasks hahaha*. So I had to hit the buffet table to have yummy sushi
and fresh maguro (although I didn’t wanna look at the fish… hahaha) before whipping out the cam.

So a balancing act it was for moi. But right before I had the camera, I spotted: SSI’s Malou Francisco, Cartier’s Luzanne Manlapit, Jewelry Bloggerina Candifier. And then, wouldn’t you know it, I somehow managed to take the camera out of my bag to take snaps of these lovely people:
VVIP jeweller Janina Hoschka with the vavavoom Hermes bag (I had planned on taking her bag home as a souvenir but she guarded her bag like a hawk, so this baghag didn’t stand a chance *hmph*)
Mega Magazine lady boss Sari Yap who looked absolutely fantastic!
Travel Life editor- in- chief and my fellow blogger Liza Ilarde- Cuenca with Steak (Cheesesteak/ Elbert’s Steak Room) +Mac Man *hehehe* Elbert Cuenca.
We sat with this lovely couple and just talked about our dogs!! They also have a Jack Russell Terrier named Harry 🙂 *Soooo cute!!!*

(whose names I have officially forgotten because I am simply an old goat who has lost her memory after having too much champagne hahaha *confession, raging alcoholic alert hahaha* )
