(Even if their names actually sound kinda funny… and umm… well… funny *Ok I have a dirty mind, so there haha*) The Durian Pukis and the Banana Pukis are both real good. (Gawd, that felt weird spelling those words out here… hahaha)
So I wasn’t exactly shopping for food because I was hungry (otherwise I would’ve taken one of each– just because I can get selfish with food and am known not to share haha)
Then there’s this fridge full of herbal drinks and some unheard of tea combinations. 
I randomly picked out these drinks. I happen to like Barley a lot, but a Bamboo drink seems interesting.
Ummm… semen coicis *sounds… umm… well…. hehe… ok I’m not going to go further with this description.* Hehe, even barley was misspelled (spelling naziii!!) OK. Bottom line, after I read the label, I was hesitant to drink it hahaha
I went with the Bamboo Leaf juice, which was yum. But DH said the barley drink was real good. So I took a sip. I was reallly hesitant since there was no internet and I couldn’t google what Semen Coicis really is…. hahaha. Anyway, now I know it’s actually Coix seed and it apparently “promotes water metabolism, strengthens the spleen, and clears heat and eliminates pus” (tcmbasics.com). In other words, we’re talking Traditional Chinese Medicine here. I should’ve loaded up on more hahahhaa.
And I also bought this 24 kinds of tea drink. I thought it would be sweet. With the little Mandarin that I spoke, I had asked the kind lady about this drink and she mentioned this would be a little “sweeter” than the 26 kinds of tea drink. I was thinking, it can’t be that bad, right? Darnit. It was BITTER! *spits at the thought* DH was the guinea pig (hehehe meanie!!)– he chose to drink all of it hahaha. I guess TCM will be working wonders on his skin in the next few weeks 😉I want all these cakes!!!
Ended up getting the Pandan Rolls which we all decided to have for breakfast 😉 *We woke up too late for “real” breakfast*
But the packaging also sorta looks like V-Cut (which I soooo love. Can I ask for a huge box of V-Cut Chips for Christmas from a kind soul out there? :D).
Alrighty, this baghag’s getting hungry again from all the food photos. I think I shall raid my fridge tonight or my noodle cupboard… or maybe I can just try to get some shuteye and dream about some eggs benedict tomorrow 🙂

Is barley juice different from barley tea? My mom buys barley tea bags at a Korean store in Malate I think. It’s a big tea bag that you can heat/boil that can make about 2 pitchers of tea 🙂

@ Cherry: I think the GM is better actually. Maybe you feel the Black PM is small because also of the color– black has this tendency to make the item LOOK smaller. They don’t have any stock in Paris now 🙁
