Early Christmas :)

Yesterday was proof that it’s really never too early to receive Christmas presents! A parcel was delivered by FedEx in the evening. I came home and gave the box a quick once-over, thinking I must’ve purchased something online *major gulp*. But then reality bit and made me realize that no, I didn’t buy anything online; yes, everything is still in the “basket”; and no, I have not yet “checked out” *haha it’s too early to buy myself something for Christmas*. So wheeeee,  this must be a Christmas gift ? 🙂 *Santa’s early this year, woohooo!!!*

I was really floored! These are the very shoes that were used on the Fall/Winter 2010 Runway of the DKNY show which I actually blogged about *jumps up and down with joy hehehe*.  If I’m not mistaken, these were the very same shoes worn by Dutch supermodel Bregje Heinen (look #3 on DKNY F/W 2010)

I looooved those shoes sooo much! I was told back then that they were not releasing shoes that high for the consumer market (they tweaked it though and oooh they looked goood :D)

I remember being sad though because I reallly, realllllly wanted those booties really sky- high.  And now, they’re mine!! Dreams do come true!! (These shoes are soo sleeping beside me tonight. Move over, DH *poor hubby lol*)

THANK YOU SO MUCH to the wonderful folks of DKNY who had this pair of brown Oxford platforms sent over from New York to me! I couldn’t take the smile off my face when I opened the box and saw these shoes. When I tried them on, they were truly soooo comfortable! I was still walking around in them minutes before I started writing this post 🙂 *wide grin* I can personally attest to the fact that  DKNY shoes are truly comfortable. And these 5- inch high booties are the most comfortable booties I have owned to date (it even trumps my Clergerie wedges by a mile!).

Again, THANK YOU DKNY for my NEW SHOES 🙂  I feel like a new woman lol 😀
