Designer “Paper” Bag

I wore socks with my heels today. I know, some might be quick to quip that’s a fashion faux pas. Why I actually wore socks today has nothing to do with fashion, but has something to do with my health. You see, my feet get cold very, very easily. If I don’t do something to warm up those cold feet *hehehe literally!*, I could end up sick. Again. And after having been sick for over 2 weeks, I don’t think I’d want to go back to that state again. It was so unpleasant *Blech!*

So anyway, thought I’d make you peeps smile, which is why I’m posting a photo of what I looked like today, socks and heels and all 😀
I think the Mulberry Alexa bag and that chunky jade necklace by accessories designer Rodina Velasco of Accessory Lab salvaged the otherwise- laughable look *hahaha*. But  looking at the photo now, perhaps I think a different bag would’ve worked better…

It’s a pretty cool tote which was inspired by brown paper lunch bags. I’ve seen this bag up close and I had actually thought about getting it but in the end, I opted for a pair of earrings *tsk*. So now,  this bag is haunting me again *aww boo!*.  I think this is a good alternative to Alexander Wang’s Rocco bag, Proenza’s PS1, and the Mulberry Alexa. It’s a good bag to bring your magazine or office files as well 🙂 Oh, and this makes for a good man- bag too, I believe 🙂

The Proenza Schouler Paper Effect Bag is available for purchase at Net-A-Porter
