Just a quick note here. I have a deadline to meet (article due!!!), and I know I shouldn’t be procrastinating, but I am. I need sleep because my throat aches again. I had gambas with chili for lunch *hyperacidity attack looming!* But before I do get my much-needed shuteye, here’s a bag that caught my eye. 
YSL flapper tote priced at US$1495.00! Hmm… does this look better than the YSL Muse?

I think this one looks much better than the muse. Besides Muse is so over now. It was the IT bag last yr and getting it now wont be a good choice. Also, there’s thousands of fakes of muse out there and it cheapened the image of the bag already. :< hate fakes. and brands like Urban outfitters also has look alikes for the muse. Of course the muse also looks plain(aka boring)compared to this flapper tote. Also baghag, where are you going for your trip?
flapper tote looks nicer. think i would have chosen that over the muse had ysl had it in then. just be careful about the leather. a friend got water stains on hers and had to exchange it for a new one. i end up covering my muse rather than my head when it rains,to the amusement of my friends.
i like this one better than the Muse. but i love the tan Prada tote on your pervious entry much more. better still, a Lanvin Kansas tote! im having a tote moment as well and was wondering if the YSL boutique in Greenbelt would have that chocolate brown Tanger tote in stock and if you don’t mind rating it for me. thanks!

Hey there! I dunno about the flapper tote, i still like the muse better. it has that classic shape that i know wont disappear, unlike the spy or the paddington.
and regarding what lovebags said that there tons of fake muses out there and it has cheapened the image of tha bag…well what about the fake hermes’, lv’s, gucci’s, chloe’s, etc out there? has it also cheapened their image?? and lets not forget “look alikes” of some of their famous styles. the muse isnt the only victim out there.

maybe i didnt make myself so clear. the fakes for muse were mostly worn by Gap t-shirt clad and $2 flipflops teenagers. Seeing that image all the time somehow just doesnt do it for me.
Maybe I am very biased against the muse since it was soooo IT bag in Los Angeles for like a month and it’s all gone now other than the fakes one by these teenagers.
I do agree it’s a classic bag but not that interesting.
well personally speaking i love this flapper tote more than their Muse bag. when you see even lindsay lohan is carrying one around her arm, you know the bag is getting tired.
