Daphne’s Baby Shower at the Mandarin!

Last July 10, Mrs.T was invited to the baby shower of Urban Zone host Daphne Paez. *Awwww look at the three ladies :)*

Held at the Makopa Room (it’s a suite, actually) of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the afternoon event was well- attended by friends and family.The bears greeted the guests 😉

The afternoon tea buffet was prepared by Mandarin Oriental. I was so full from having a little bit of everything:

After we all had our “snacks” (actually it was already dinner for me haha), the games began.

Diaper game! It was so much fun– competition was pretty stiff! Jeweller JaninaDH was in *fight* mode 😉 and with Chuvaness on her team *who designs!!*, of course, they won the diaper game!! Jerome looked good with the toilet “diaper” embellished with a cute little ribbon right smack in front 😉

There were other games played, like match the mommy animal to the its baby, guess the measurement of Daph’s baby belly, and unscramble baby-related words 🙂

Prizes included a Mandarin Oriental Spa gift certificate, a Herve Chapelier bag from Accessory Lab, bath products from Origins.

Everyone took home the coolest loot bags (more than one loot bag per person!!) which include:
OLAY. Perfect timing too, because I almost ran out of Olay Night Cream!! (thank you Daph and P&G hehehe) I can’t stress enough how happy I am using Olay to moisturize my skin. I just can’t imagine paying top dollars for some super duper expensive cram when Olay already does the job 🙂 *chuckles… I sound like an endorser– but seriously! This stuff works for my skin!!!*

MACHIAVELLI Chocolates. You peeps with sweet tooth, you have to seriously try the chocolates of Machiavelli. My favorites include the Jasmine Bloom,
Lychee Noir,

Oh before I forget, I have to let you peeps (especially couples who are planning to get married!!) know– should you choose Mandarin Oriental Hotel as your wedding reception venue (avail of their super good package “deals”!), the hotel will also throw in a Hong Kong honeymoon package (yes, airfare AND accommodation!!) for FREE!!! :)*
