Complaints about my hair… A possible solution?

If you have known me since Y2K *Year 2000*, you’d know that my hair was realllllllyyyyy long  for quite some time (waist- length)! But in the last year or so, I have decided to have it shorter– shoulder length.  It’s because it became too difficult to manage and maintain (I have to go to a salon to have my hair washed often because I couldn’t handle the tangles on my own anymore). And well, since I began traveling a lot more last year and this year, I figured having shorter hair will make things easier for me (wash and go).
But quite possibly one of the things I dislike about traveling *well aside of course from being away from family and having to experience turbulence on air* is the damage it wreaks to my hair. I have been harping about how unmanageable my hair has become over the last few months to friends (and I suppose I must’ve harped about it already on twitter). The worse thing about it is, each time I travel, I never bring my own shampoo (because I like to pack light).  As a result though, when I move from city to city(hotel to hotel), I change shampoos. I think that’s the main cause of dryness and “brittleness” in my hair. 🙁
Let me stress too that I don’t like washing my hair every day too (hehehe I know, TMI) because it dries up my hair and leaves the edges looking like uncut grass 🙁 But I guess the harshness of the hotel shampoos have really done a lot of damage already 🙁
Anyway, as luck would have it (hmm…wait, did P&G read my tweets about my hair last week??), I was given these “Mystery” Shampoo and Conditioner samples by the wonderful peeps of Procter and Gamble right before I left town.

Now, I have no idea what brand they are. They wouldn’t tell me. But I know this much– it’s by Procter and Gamble, so it’s definitely good and I’m willing to try it out at this point–  I’m an Olay user (Olay is by P&G) thanks to Urban Zone host Daphne— and it works out so well for my skin, thank goodness!
So I decided to take them with me on this trip. After all, if my hair’s been subjected to unknown chemicals and hotel shampoo concoctions in the past, it’s high time I treat my “tresses” better.
I’ll keep you posted on how this mystery shampoo- conditioner combo works out for my hair.  (Help me guess this shampoo brand! I am sooo curious already!!) What do you peeps do to maintain the “health” of your hair? Share, share. At this point, I just want to nurse my hair back to its old healthy self.

Anyway, the meantime, I hope you all have a wonderful day ahead, and I will be blogging about my adventures tomorrow 🙂
