Can’t Have Enough Shoes!

If you like a pair of shoes soooooo much and they’re very affordable, do you buy them even if:

Well, confession time. I bought a new pair of shoes. Before you raise your eyebrows and say “don’t you already have enough?”, I will already shake my head and say, “One can never have enough shoes.” *beams with pride, shoe fiends unite! hahaha*

So I bought a pair of platform Mary Janes at Forever 21. I couldn’t say no to them because they were gorgeous, and they reminded me of the Spring 2010 platform Miu Mius that I will probably never own. I only have the regular Miu Miu mary janes (sans platform) which are actually a wee bit too big on me 😀

and unfortunately there was no other way I could get my dirty little hands on any other style. Miu Miu really hit paydirt with that shoe collection. Spring Summer 2010. Unforgettable. 

So when Forever 21 came out with this, I had to drop everything else I was doing to rush to SM Megamall to get it. The thing at Forever 21 Manila is, the merchandise moves at a stealth pace, so if you don’t go immediately, what you want might already have been bought by someone else.

When I got there, they had a size 37 which are on the snug side for me. If they only had a 37.5, it would’ve been perfect. But it’s either I get the 37 or the 38, so I just opted to get the tighter one, since my Miu Mius were on the loose side. Now I can enjoy 2 different sizes hahaha.

So that was my loot for the day. I got a few pieces of clothing as well, including a pair of pleather tights and a striped knit pullover. I overheard from the Forever 21 associates that they might get new shipments of these Mary Jane platforms over the weekend again, in another color. I hope I heard them right– because I will in all likelihood, rush back to Forever 21 again if and when a new batch of shoes in the same style arrive. 

*Sigh*, what is it about women and shoes? 🙂
