The Hermes Illica. Is this the bag to get after the Roulis and the Constance?

Initially thought to myself that it was a cute bag but I’d never go for it because it’s black and reminds me too much of a briefcase. You know, one of those Wall Street briefcases 😀
But then I later saw the Illica in Tosca at the Hermes boutique and was instantly sold on the idea that this bag is actually very, very pretty. You see, color really makes a VERY BIG difference to me in a bag. And in a bright shade (hmmm maybe in Cassis, like the color of this birkin)

the Illica becomes a fun bag to carry– for a day or night out! Things from the interior of the bag are a wee bit harder to take out than say, the Roulis, but the bag’s prominent hardware gives it a strong character and a somewhat vintage feel.
Price for the Illica is definitely not cheap :(. But again, if you are looking to invest in either a Celine box bag, a Hermes Roulis, a Constance, or an Illica, why not go for the latest style that is the Illica 🙂
