But the industry folks came full force to this event– we’re talking magazine honchos like publisher Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng of Summit Publications, and of course the fashionable EICs (editors-in-chief) of Mega Magazine and Lifestyle Asia, 
Carla Sibal and Sari Yap.
Here’s a meaty one from Marc Jacobs. Though he has produced a rather unremarkable S/S ’07 collection for Louis Vuitton (for the most part), he does not disappoint with his own.
Stam quilt bag in metallic python skin (I think it’s called a Karen bag)
It’s stunning. I am liking this.
Monochromatic purple croc skin quilt doctor bag. 
Shaped pretty close to an LV speedy, this croc in graduating shades of purple is nice, nice, nice. Some might think it gaudy, but I like it. 
Hey, it combines 2 elements that I like– color, and material 🙂
Now this patent (looking) leather bag 
reminds me too much of the mass produced patent-and-chain bags over at Forever 21. I’d rather get mine there if this were the style. Cheaper 😀 *hehe*
This bronze shoulder bag’s body remotely resembles a Prada bag from the F/W 2006 collection.

This is rather blah to me… 
but if you favor more traditional styles, this might do.
Ok, this last bag is what got me wondering. 
Someone tell me what those things are at the bottom of the bag. Flowers? And is that a big rhinestone dangling precariously over (well, close to the bottom of) the bag? *Hello, shoddy workmanship?* This bag is not doing it for me at all. If anything, it’s giving me goosebumps. The bag looks like a byproduct of an alien that tried to morph itself into a bag… *shudder* (All photos from style.com)
Marc Jacobs, you get high marks from thebaghag (with the exception of that Alien bag *we’d rather watch the trilogy that carry it on our arm, thank you*). 😀
