Another looooooong overdue bag review! Gosh it has been a loooooong time since I talked bags! I need to do this more often… I am missing my own bag reviews hahaha.
Louis Vuitton’s Spring/ Summer 2010 bags. I’m not quite sold on the look of these bags, but they’re quite quirky and fun.
Denim Duffel? Back in the early 90s, I think Esprit came out with these silk-screened “Esprit” duffels which people snapped up. Everyone was carrying them to school, on weekends… Are duffels back? Duffels are the death of me– I’ll end up bringing my whole house in my bag, and when my phone rings, oh my Lawrd, I’ll probably end up in one corner, digging out a phone I cannot find in that abyss of a bag! 😀
Nice color combination! This makes for a nice overnight bag. But I wonder if the handles are “strong” enough to carry all the weight in the bag though.
This is interesting. The duffel doubles as a handbag.
I am so not carrying this bag. I don’t like it at all. Those tassels look like shotgun bullet cases! 🙁

I can carry this bag. I would wear it with my $9 skinny jeans and my circa 1995 boots *which I finally brought back home from SF– I think I bought them for $49 back in 1995– and they’re unbranded (and VERY comfortable and still VERY alive!!!) 😉
Garbage bag- like bag. Wait, it actually looks like the Gap bag, doesn’t it?
The backpack’s “baaaaack”!!!! Have we tossed out our backpacks? Is it time to bring them back? 😉 Remember how we all used to love carrying backpacks at some point in our lives? Bring out your montsouris backpacks , LV lovers 😀

A Speedy! Striped monogram? I like that the bag has “feet” now. I hope I can see this up close. It’s always interesting to see how Louis Vuitton redesigns the iconic bag.

Did you baghags like the collection? I was honestly very divided about it. Sure they’re funky, but we all know that not everyone likes funky. I wonder how this will fare in-stores. But I’d definitely love to see the Speedy, as well as the shoes up- close! Can’t wait for this collection to come out!

I like the pastel colors! I like funky! But i’m also divided on the collection. It’s either there’s something missing or it’s too much. I like that it is funky but I’m also a classic girl.
I like the bags, not so much on the shoes hehe
kinda too funky for my taste… although one or two bags caught my attention, i’m quite not sure i love them that much to buy.
the colors are fun but the burloloys are too distracting and too mismatched. the shoes look quite comfy though. 🙂

@ Mrs.Mac: yes those burloloys are kinda annoying haha. Like shotgun bullets (or casings or whatever they’re called). But yeah, some are nice 🙂

i’ve got my eye on the Glad garbage bag lookalike. the striped Speedy is made of strips of mono canvas with gold showing through underneath.
btw, the burloloys are uncut tassel – rolled pieces of leather. why? i haven’t the slightest idea. they look deadly.
I don’t like them. I loved the 08 and 09 spring/summer collection.
2008 was just so classy (Hello Watercolor! etc. etc. etc.). 2009 was funky and yet still a classic. 2010 collection is bleh. I’m going to save me some money!
@ deluxeduck: the speedy’s interesting. And yes, the garbage bag is something i’d pick out as well. Very interesting, and I hope they use a strong material for it 😉 Or it’ll rip with all that junk I put in my bag hahaha. Those burloloys are really horrid– dont you think they look like shotgun shell casings? 😀
