Bag Review: Hogan x Karl Lagerfeld Fall/ Winter 2011- 2012 collection

Now that I’m back in Manila once again, it’s time to do a bag collection review. Oh and if you haven’t been following me yet on Twitter, you should already- I am ending the Hermes Marwari bag giveaway contest this coming Friday, so you might want to follow me on twitter.com/thebaghag and enter the contest!  For the details on The Bag Hag Giveaway Contest, please read THIS BAGHAGDIARIES GIVEAWAY BLOG POST. (I’m leaving that post immediately below my latest post for easier accessibility :D)
Now onto the review 🙂

The Fall/ Winter 2011- 2012 Collection of Hogan x Karl Lagerfeld is very strong in my opinion. First off, you have those beautiful coats. Now I only have 1 puffy coat (which I honestly think is hideous, but it serves it purpose of keeping me warm) and have no intention of adding to my collection (except when I was in Milan and freeeezing my buns off). But when I saw the Hogan puffy coats which were inspired by bubble wrap, I wanted one right away!

Trés cool jackets– thos vertical micro puffs have that slimming effect on the wearer. Puffy coats are usually with horizontal puffs, large ones. So this is a nice change!

Translated into bags too!

Iridescent!

These totes are so light!!

And then the shoes!

Very rocker chic! It’s not exactly my usual style, but I can see how cool they’d actually look when worn, plus the comfort of these shoes is practically unquestionable . Hogan belongs to the same company as Tod’s and Tod’s makes the most comfortable shoes!
I look forward to the puffy “bubble wrap” coats, and of course that tote bag in not-quite-black. After this whole Milan- Paris trip was over, I realized that one bag that I really needed was a black one. This could’ve very well been it!!! 🙂

PPS. Belated Happy Birthday to Bryanboy 🙂
