Bag Review: Hermes Toolbox!

Hermes in Siam Paragon Mall, Bangkok has a few key bags worth buying, but with the price conversion, I would actually prefer to purchase them at the Hermes Greenbelt 3 boutique (roughly the same price for the bags) just because we also need to help our economy here in the Philippines 🙂

At the Hermes Bangkok boutique though, I saw a few Evelynes– there’s this in gris tourterelle

There’s an immaculate summer white version as well

And there was even a red one inside, with a 2- tone colored strap. All very, very nice.

But the cutest bag of Hermes that I’ve seen this year (it debuted last year), is the Toolbox.

This is the Toolbox 33 bag in swift calfskin leather. I looove the smaller size of this particular style, but for the bag to “work” for me on an everyday basis, this 33cm size is perfect. Rolled handles like that of a birkin, the practicality of an Evelyne (thick shoulder strap), and the perfectly designed inside pockets only add to the bag’s desirability. (This bag is already sold out in most of the Hermes boutiques I’ve visited!!)
At the end of the day, when all bag trends have come and gone, bags from Hermes remain timeless, in demand, and classic. Great alternatives to the Kelly and the Birkin, this Toolbox is in my book, already a winner and is on a class of its own!
The Toolbox Bag is now available at the Hermes boutique at Greenbelt 3. I can’t wait to see more bags and other merchandise as I attend the Fleurs d’ Indiennes Silk event tonight at Hermes! 🙂 *I haven’t been attending events in awhile, so this should be a fun night! :D*
Hope everyone’s been having a wonderful afternoon so far 🙂
