This soft black calfskin leather satchel with a detachable shoulder strap earns high marks from me. I love the simplicity of the bag, and the fold- over enclosure style. Priced at US$1050 , you are already getting a remarkable piece, considering most designer bags now run in the upward figure of $1200.
Carlos Falchi’s suede hobo bag with ruched ribbon “flap” detail 
is remarkable. It makes the bag look so soft. Although I am not a fan of suede, I must say that a lot of beautiful suede bags have that certain je ne sais quois that calfskin/ nappa leather bags don’t have. Too bad it’s really such a pain to maintain where we are at. If we had cooler climates, I would’ve highly recommended it. Priced at US$495.
Jimmy Choo Ramona. 
The brand Jimmy Choo is synonymous with shoes, but not so with bags. The only style I remember is the Tulita in metallic pink hobo *oh and the clutch style as well which was soo nice*. But this Ramona bag, seen in the arms of some celebs (Jessica Alba has one), is not a head- turner for me. It’s not bugly, but it just doesn’t scream pretty either. For US$1850, I’d be much happier with the large Edith bowler of Chloe.

(hmm… it looks raspberry to me actually– unless I’m color blind *go ahead, take potshots at me hehe*) is priced at US$1,660 ($190 less than the Ramona! Winner!!) at bergdorfgoodman.com. Now this bugatti shaped bag is something I can relate to. It does not have that abysmal effect like the Ramona (can’t find that ringing mobile phone for 5 minutes?), but has equal “leg” room compared to a shopping tote. The other setback of course is, the bag could get pretty darn heavy. And you have to hand-carry it (nope, this bag can’t be a “shoulder” candy– the handles are pretty small to sit past the crook of your arm). But what a yummy bag nonetheless. Mrs.T’s gotta test drive this baby! 🙂
Another Chanel bag heads your way!
This bag is something that Miranda Priestly’s assistant, Andrea (The Devil wears Prada) would carry. It’s a very cute bag. Not too small to be teeny boppery, but not too big to be contrived either. Measuring 10″L x 8″H x 5″W and straps dropping 7″ (which can be carried on shoulder or at the crook of your arm), the bag is made of toile (linen-canvas like), highlighted with patent white leather. The bag is new– the top cover (black leather pocket cover with snaps enclosure) has a zipper that’s still encased in plastic. The black interior is also very clean. It will come with the original box, the authenticity card (that matches hologram sticker number inside the bag), and the dustbag. TRESOR PRICE: Php 72,000.
