Bag Reveal for November 2011!

I just realized that a bag reveal has been absent on this blog for quite some time. So now that this little treasure *no pun intended, but hey, it’s befitting of this post :)* of a bag was delivered to me this morning, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to do the reveal. And December is just around the corner (which means, hello my reveal is a good Christmas present idea for thyself!!)
Just a few nights ago, I was looking through photos (had to delete a lot of blurry ones to keep my iphoto album from overloading with photos again) from Paris during fashion week and came across this one with friends during our last night.
With Necky, Tina of the BagSnob, and Bryanboy who carried the DKNY x Bagsnob Trendy Bag
We had a blast that last night, and were all glad that Tina was in Paris the same time we were.  I was then reminded of BagSnob’s collaboration with DKNY which I wrote about last May (the reviews of bags are here).
With the discerning tastes and styles of Tina and Kelly of the Bagsnob and the expertise of DKNY, the collection is undoubtedly going to be a huge success. I have only seen the Trendy up close and I knew that it was well- worth a purchase. It was such a versatile piece that it makes for the perfect travel companion, plus it won’t even not take up space in your luggage if you pack it.
And then today, this beautiful “treasure” came along! I now have seen 2 of the Bagsnob x DKNY bags up close. And am so happy to call the Treasure bag my own, thanks to the DKNY PR Team 🙂 I’m going to carry her today 🙂 but first, sharing some detailed shots for you all.
Beautiful stamped crocodile leather in a natural shade. I love that faceted clasp!
The bag is really so well- made. I am in love with the colors on this bag. It was really very well- thought out in terms of design and color blocking.

The leather body of the bag is a shade of navy, sides are in black, and the handles in contrast bright lipstick red 🙂

The interior of the bag has these pockets which really come in handy for a mobile phone or for your keys.

Very room interior!

I love looking at the back of the bag because I see the contrasting red color stitching on the navy body of the bag. Details like that make the bag extra special because it feels like the designers have really taken careful consideration of the “look” of the bag from every angle, and every “nook and cranny” so to speak.
A zippered pocket in the back!
The back of the bag features a zip pocket, which makes it perfect to slip those business cards in for when you carry the Treasure to a cocktail party 🙂 And not to be left out of the design on this bag is the detachable shoulder strap– no longer a luxury but a necessity!

So you can carry the Treasure by her top handle, a very feminine look, or you can carry her on your shoulder to keep both hands free 🙂 Versatility, design, quality of the Treasure bag? Topnotch! This bag gets high marks! Am already excited to use this bag.  P.S. Here she is, full frontal 🙂

The bag is really gorgeous. I was even able to loop the top handle onto my arm and use as a shoulder bag 🙂 Talk about versatility– how the bag can be carried in so many ways!
