Bag Love: Lancel Premier Flirt

Just a month or so ago, I was proclaiming my love for a white Lancel Premier Flirt bag I saw on this very chic Frenchwoman. I’ve had the opportunity to test- carry a Lancel Premier Flirt in the past and I had loved the functionality of the bag as well as its design. I had waited looooong to get the color I want (because a lady had taken the one I had fallen in love with).

Today, I am a proud very proud owner of a Premier Flirt bucket bag– the white one that I had fallen in love with :).

There is really no need to introduce Lancel. It’s a very well- known brand in France. I would always make it a point to pop over their store located a stone’s throw away from the Paris Opera House (in hopes I could find that bright color that I almost had– had it not been for that woman who got to it first LOL).

I’ve always wanted to have a white bag, and to have something as detailed as this one is a dream! I really hope to take extremely good care of this one. I love the multi-color backsides of the bag, set against the white. Serious bag love happening right here, forgive me 🙂 

The Premier Flirt is one of the brand’s best sellers because it is really very easy to carry– thick double handles that can be looped over the crook of your arm or on your shoulders, or if you wish, use the detachable thicker shoulder strap. It’s a very considerate design, because the one thing a lot of bag designers fail to recognize is this: once the bag gets a little heavy, a thin shoulder strap does very little to make the bag carry comfortable. Lancel has taken that into consideration. The smaller Premier Flirt is also very cute, but I highly recommend the larger size as it has that practically de rigueur  detachable shoulder strap which you can either leave on the bag or keep inside the bag.

What else is very enticing about the Premier Flirt? It’s not crazy expensive like other designer brands! 🙂 That is quite the welcome change, actually 🙂
