So sorry I didn’t blog yesterday. I spent quality time with DM in the afternoon, and ended up coming home real early this morning after hanging out with my friend from work (since we didn’t get to see each other throughout the elections– she was covering with Marga Ortigas while I was with Veronica Pedrosa). Steph, who is a senior producer at Al Jazeera, and I haven’t seen each other in 7 years, so as you can imagine, we had a lot of catching up to do 🙂
Anyyyyway, I was at the Associated Press Office with the team the other day and had forgotten to bring my camera to work, so I can’t really show you any new images other than the ones I already shared with you on twitter.

That day was just as fruitful as the other one, and again, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have been given this unique opportunity to work as a member of the foreign press at a historical event in the Philippines. Al Jazeera has given an unbiased perspective of the Philippine elections– reportage included footage shot in the rich neighborhoods in Makati, the beautiful view by the Manila Bay, and the more populated areas of the country. It was a very well- balanced reportage which covered all social classes, and though I never got the chance to see it on air, I was a witness to most of it, live.
Sooo, that’s finally over with 🙂 Today, it’s back to “thebaghag” world for me 🙂 I missed the Judith Leiber launch at Mix Greenbelt the other day. Personally, I don’t see myself owning a Leiber clutch/ bag in the near future, but I would’ve considered using either the very cute cupcake bag
carried by Charlotte’s daughter Lily (Sex and the City, the movie)
or the Delicious Apple bag.
I think they’re both cute 🙂 *although I must admit that I don’t think ‘cute’ suits me :D* What do you think? Would you carry either of these bags? 🙂
