Hi hags! I know I promised to blog when I was in Bangkok, but I found it quite impossible to squeeze in even 5 minutes just to blog because we were with the kiddies. *And we know what happens when you put a bunch of toddlers together :D*
Here’s a quick breakdown for you on what I saw (and what I remember)…
1. Thais are VERY friendly. They’re truly very “warm” and hospitable!
2. It’s really HOT in Bangkok!
3. I’ve finally found a spicy dish that I could not take eating because it was too spicy!! *for once I had to surrender!*
4. Chanel classic flap bags (the modern 2.55) in medium now cost US$2,600 (converted from ThBaht)! Chanel increased something like 10- 12% in prices last April 1!! So even the J12 watch which had cost US$8k+ before, now cost US$10k++ (J12 diamond ceramic watch that’s quartz, NOT automatic).
5. Siam Paragon Mall is HUGE. And I’m not even talking about the food court (I got lost there!)
6. Went to a Crocodile farm– actually the world’s largest croc farm which houses some 40,000 crocs. Yeah got my fill of exotic croc haha…
Ok I gotta log off now, I need rest! The ironic thing is, Thailand may be the best place to get a good massage, but this baghag didn’t have the time to get one!!! *Mrs.T= loser*
