After the Olsen twins picked up the CFDA award this year, every other fashion media outlet seems to be watching them closely.
I don’t mind that because more photos of her *and her bags* emerge 🙂 This particular tote she carries is also from The Row (unlike the Kardashians who never seem to carry the bags from their own line). The crocodile skin tote really costs so much (it’s really quite unreasonable, but the sisters seem to have built a market for them). But the leather version is a wee bit more affordable (not really affordable but it’s way more pleasant price-wise compared to the exotic skin version) .
This is such a no- nonsense tote. It doesn’t have a lot of trimmings which could’ve made it more unique, but it’s quite obvious the Olsen sisters were thinking classic, timeless when they designed their bags. This tote is quite nondescript except for the rectangular- shaped gold hardware “bricks” below each handle.
The bag is really not a cheap purchase. It is an investment piece and the Olsens obviously want you to be the custodian of the bag, to take care of it until you can pass it on to the next generation.
What say you? Would you purchase this bag or would you rather go for a tried-and-tested classic, a Hermes bag? I am divided.
