As Yellow as the Sun… A New color at Hermes

Yes, yes I know, it’s “Fall/ Winter” already, although for us peeps in the third world, it means “rainy season”. But I can’t help gravitate towards bright colors when it comes to bags– may it be Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. Doubt you’ll really ever see me carry an all- black bag. (At least not just yet)

So when I got a call this evening from my SA at Hermes saying they’ll have a new color called Soleil by Spring 2009, I was overjoyed. I knew that if I can’t get my clammy hands on a 40cm Jaune a la Kimora Lee Simmons, I will gladly take Soleil.(photo from costa of TPF)

I just remembered I never posted my token photo with my ahem, “idol” 😉 So here it is, my face covered with a heart and all *Natch!* 😀

Kimora, you rock!!! (And your rocks rock too! *shamelessly wolfwhistling*)

If this is Jaune, I can’t wait to see Soleil in real life. My SA tells me that it’s not as bright as Jaune, but certainly much brighter than Curry. Time to stop pillaging the coins in my piggy bank *eeps cat’s out of the bag haha*.

If there is one bag I’d like in a 40cm, I want it to be in yellow. Bright Yellow. (Channeling Kimora, helloooo). Benefactors very welcome 😀

(The other color for Spring 2009 I’m told, is Ciel, which is a sky blue)

P.S. For LV, Hong Kong is cheaper. But hey, please support our local economy 😀
