Arancione in Milano

How beautifully simple is this Jil Sander doctor’s bag in Mandarin orange?

This bag was such a standout at the Jil Sander store. There were very interesting color blocked clutches too, but I thought the bag above was the clear winner.

When it comes to brightly colored bags, less is more. Meaning the less details there are on the bag, the more appealing it looks. I just find bright bags with a lot of hardware too… disturbing. I like bags that distract in a good way.
Which was exactly what happened when I saw this Celine nano luggage at Celine Via Montenapoleone. Though it has a fairly good amount of “details” on the bag, the nano is still terribly cute 🙂 *Makes-you-want-to-pinch-it cute *

Looks like I didn’t have to harass the lady at La Rinascente for the cobalt blue nano luggage after all 🙂 *Thank you FairyBagMother for holding me back when I wanted to go and harass sales associate for the blue nano LOL* Darned woman refused to sell that cobalt blue one *I still want it LOL*
There were other luggage totes for sale at the store (yellow, 2- color combinations, marron, ) but this little dude really caught me off- guard. Turns out this was the real “get” for me 🙂
So there you have it, a remarkable afternoon spent at Via Montenapoleone and an orange souvenir as a result 🙂 Crud, this better be the last “souvenir” for this trip! I need to work and make money, not spend!
*Note to self: This is NOT a vacation!!!*
Now, tomorrow I head off to the Tod’s factory and it’s an early morning start, so I better start packing for that overnight trip and get some early sleep. I need to learn this thing called “work discipline” :).
