I was looking through my photo album from LUISAVIAROMA
and saw a Chloe Paraty bag in oak. I remember walking around the store with her, wondering why there’s this desire to own another oak- colored bag. To be honest, I was never a fan of earth- toned bags, but for some reason it all changed after I saw the Mulberry Alexa in oak. And now, the Chloe Paraty bag also in oak.
Yes, I know the Chloe Paraty is not “new”. And perhaps I bucked the trend seasons ago when I didn’t get this bag (while celebs like Katie Holmes happily toted one). Oh, you know it’s accepted to begin to like a particular bag only now (and not when everyone else began obsessing about it years ago)– It doesn’t make you a little too late in the game 🙂 *Whether it’s those “last season” Reva flats from Tory Burch (hahaha someone actually made that sarcastic comment to my face when I wore them), or five-seasons-past Louis Vuitton bag, it really doesn’t matter. As long as you like what you are carrying, wearing, or schlepping, that’s all that counts. I mean hey, if they aren’t paying for your shopping bill, they really have no right to put you down because of what you wore/ carried, or make those snide comments, right? :)*
Woops I veered off from the topic again– going back to Oak, I also took a liking to the Givenchy Pandora in Oak!
I’ve only seen this bag “boxy” because of the stuffing inside, but the bag is actually slouchy, and is apparently a wonderful bag to carry. Plus, its design is something quite unique. I looove the washed leather too.
And *dreamy look* let me top it off with a gorgeous pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes
Oh, why do I love this color all of a sudden?! What do you baghags think? 🙂
