Woohoo so I bagged me a writing job again (after a looooong time– it’s no surprise actually, anyone who reads my blog will be inclined to think that I am such a poor writer. The only thing going for me is all the fluff I write and all my delusions muwahaha *yeah and my sorry pathetic life makes you wanna read me.. face it, you all pity me haha*). Anyway so the article will be about bags again, natch. After all, no magazine has ever hired me to write about food (am I not credible enough for the gastronomes out there?). Ahh I know why, I think they’d be scared of all the food freeloading I’d do haha (a moment on your lips, forever on your hips is no longer just applicable to chocolates. I will redefine that. If I become a food writer, I’ll be plumped up and ready for cooking soon after haha *yuck*).
On a separate note, as I write this, Tresorie girls get a surprise visit from Kris Aquino and husband James Yap. Dang, she has really good skin– I still remember meeting her for the very first time sometime in 1987 when I was taking ballet lessons and she also had some dance instruction from the other studio of Julie Borromeo. Yes, I took ballet for quite some time too.(I know, right? how the heck can I be a ballet dancer when I’m anything but graceful haha)… Where was I…Oh! I was saying, one thing that struck me was Kris’ fair skin (Hmm Facial Care Center might be a good idea to check out for those who want to achieve fairer skin?). Anyway, Lovely couple. James seems to know his wife Kris’ bags 🙂 I find that real endearing, that some men really make it a point to know bags their wife likes 🙂 And today, I found out that Kris has a similar version of the Chanel modern chain tote– something that’s similar in design to this bag.

Everybody just loooves Chanel lately and it’s easy to see why. Chanel has shed off that staid old image of being the quintessential “matrona”(old ladies) bag and hasn’t stopped churning beauties since the reissue was well, issued! You know what too, it seems that the LV pandora’s bag (Speedy) is regaining popularity. Peeps have been wanting the Speedy 30– more and more Pandora’s bags please:)
Ahh but if we are talking about the Chanel bag, not all of us are fortunate enough to get that bag just yet (look at me– I had to ward off them credit card peeps just a few minutes ago haha. I’d be the perfect candidate for a credit upgrade– you know, more debt= more credit haha.. that works for some countries I think).
With that in mind, let me set off to find the good bags that are more wallet-friendly 🙂 Here’s a bag from eluxury.com that I find real interesting:

Ok for starters, “runway turnlock posh super K?” What a mouthful to say! (Can you say that fast? hahaha). Ok. honestly I like this bag because of the bottom compartment. And oh yeah. I love the price! It’s only US$478. Can you believe it, a respectable leather bag that’s “designer” branded, and under US$500? Reasonable indeedy!
Ooh ooh speaking of the bag with compartments, here’s a bag that TresorMakati will be carrying soon! It’s a Prada bag with the bottom compartment and a top frame, 
with a single handle. It’s not yet posted on the site 😀 I’m still thinking about it for myself *muwahaha self-serving*, though I don’t know if I have the moolah for it… I got a new bag fairly recently *bawl*
Hehe, now this bag got my attention–because it’s got my name on it! Literally too! haha. The Kooba Jackie bag. 
This resembles one of the Chanel bags of this season– yep, the one that looked like a shar pei… It looks quite nice when carried, and is US$645. It’s actually quite pricey already considering this brand is not yet so mainstream. But I do know this, the leather is good. I wonder though, does buying this bag also make you a Jackie? You know, Jackpot haha.
P.S. I know you probably think this post is so totally self-serving, sorry 😀 But I would rather use my own photos for reference (saves the time from asking permission from different owners). That, and I’m just really shameless with all this self-promotion *muwahaha forgive forgive!* I must mention this bag recommendation now or I will regret it since I frankly think it’s a good deal.
