ACCESSORY LAB opens tomorrow!!!!!

IN a little over 24 hours, ACCESSORY LAB boutique will be opening its doors to the bling- loving/ admiring public.

No fanfare there– just a quiet and unremarkable “opening” of a store at Rockwell 🙂

We are so nervous about the opening, but are also so very excited! I can truly say this new boutique came to because of our “blood, sweat, and tears”. I just pray we don’t disappoint you all *fingers crossed*.

Do know that everything in the store was a result of sheer hard work and undying dedication to ensuring its *cough not- so* speedy completion (we are over 2 weeks late actually in opening). I had to painstakingly sit down with both my contractor and designer just to get them to collaborate with each other *sigh, looong story– they don’t get along… ugh*, in the process get really sick (to the point I was brought to the Emergency Room), lose a LOT of sleep, and get even more sick. (The only consolation was that I did lose some weight– although frequent days of nonstop lunching at Pepper Lunch got my weight back to the way it was hahaha)

As my partner said, I’ve become “the designer, the foreman, the project manager, the liaison officer”. Daaaang, what else did I not do (well, except for the manual labor– painting, sanding, laying out the floor laminates hahaha– I can’t be trusted to do those. I’d never finish them hahahaha) So you can only imagine how this baghag (who knows NOTHING about what to get where– especially when it comes to construction- related materials) ended up in MC Home Depot, Larry’s Curtains, and True Value and other hardware stores for the most of her time in the last few weeks. I soo don’t like doing those things but I had no choice (or things won’t get done on time).
