We went to San Francisco (the city) today for a business meeting, but afterwards, we literally ran to the stores to check out what they had before they closed for the day. I’m actually surprised that stores are open today, January 1! 🙂 *Oh, Happy New Year to you all by the way :)*
Wet day in San Francisco (shot taken at night)
Went to Saks, found my long- lost super favorite SA “R” (we haven’t seen each other in 3 years!!) and was just too happy to be “reunited” again! 🙂 I ended up trying on a McQueen dress *it was on sale– at 70% off!!*
Didn’t look like much on the rack then.
But when I wore it, I was like waaaaahhhhh!! (my DSIL *dear sister-in-law* took this shot– hehe sorry I couldn’t not crop my head. Bad hair day– yes, on New Year’s Eve hahaha). The dress was a tad tight, and unfortunately there was no one size up, otherwise I’d have taken it! Loved the illusion the black leather accents on the dress created. I looked tiny! 😀

Those Puffy Juicy Couture totes remind me so much of Chanel…
Oh remember I was tweeting about the Gucci abbey bag I saw at TJ Maxx? Turns out it’s the real deal *I checked a Guccissima abbey bag at Gucci inside Saks, and it too came with a cutout of the Guccissima leather!*, so the bag is a steal! If I’m not mistaken, it should be about US $660 (after tax). The very same Gucci abbey bag was being sold at Saks *on sale* for about US$900 (after tax).
Anyway, here are 2 photos of the bag. I can’t find the full photo of the bag because my computer just decided to mess up the dates on the photos. So it’ll take awhile for me to pull that photo up 🙁

We’re still debating whether or not I should get it. Does anyone from Manila want this bag? I will need to check again if it’s still in pristine condition before I make the decision too.
