A Series of Parties in Hong Kong (with Bags)

Daphne and I were invited to HK Land’s big “Boutique Boulevard” party at the Landmark the other night. Funny thing was, we had the physical invitations but didn’t know that the party was going to begin at the Landmark Atrium. We were there to meet up with Hong Kong- based blogger friends
Daphne with HK Fashion + Shoe Geek, and Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s PR manager
(lol trust me not to read details on our invitation). We also didn’t realize this was a big event *smacks myself further. Idiot. hahaha*
The HK Land party actually encompasses a series of parties inside all the designer boutiques which began with the party at the Atrium.

There were some performances like this one

But the “real” good parties were inside the boutiques. We hopped from one shop to another– we began at Celine (there were a lot of new bags and also had multi-colored medium luggage totes, but no nanos), then moved onto Dior
Cupcakes at Dior

to Tiffany

Sweets and Petit Fours at Tiffany!

More Desserts at Tiffany

 To Dolce & Gabbana!

Female saxophonist. She was great!!
Hermes was even serving Foie Gras “lollipops” for guests! During this time, I decided to go bag photo “hunting” 😀
Bi- color Hermes Kelly

Daphne’s beautiful Tod’s D Bag at the Tod’s Party

An Hermes Lindy

Vivienne Westwood

Christine’s Miu Miu bag at Dior
Virginia’s beautiful fluo yellow Cambridge Satchel personalized with her name– it finally arrived 🙂 Worth the wait!

Aaaah a Prada espabrogue sighting! I love this particular shoe– it’s the one with the higher platform!!

I actually thought these higher soled shoes weren’t made to be sold ! Lucky!!

And then there were these lovely girls (they were so young!!!)

And they carried Celine, Hermes, and Chanel
Super interesting to note that I didn’t even see anyone wearing a Herve Leger bandage dress (whereas parties in Manila would always guarantee you a few Herve Leger bandage dress sightings)! *I wonder why? Your thoughts?*

Anyway, the party at the mall boutiques was a lot of fun although there were a few other boutiques we skipped (like Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs) because we were really, really hungry! We all headed to dinner at the MO Bar in Landmark Mandarin where we met new friends as well as fellow blogger  Superwowomg

before we all proceeded to Tory Burch’s show + party at the Four Seasons in the IFC Mall.

Super great music by this DJ!
The final walk- through at the Tory Burch show

We met with Tory Burch after the show *super major starstruck moment, hello!*  HooohmyGawd I looked like I just got out of bed (I should’ve slathered on some serious makeup on me to cover up the super barf haggard face), but Tory was SO nice and had a great chat with us. I love her! And it’s very interesting to note that her home interior designer is actually Filipino.

Also met Photographer Until Chan who took photos of us chatting with with Tory 🙂 Thanks so much for them, Until! 🙂

Tory wore these gorgeous shoes

Tory wore Prada? Or were these Alaia?  Tory’s really gorgeous!

HK blogging pioneer HK Fashion Geek had a super cool one-on-one time with Tory for an interview and details of that interview can be found on their blog 🙂

We had such an unbelievably “fun”tastic time (and were sooooo tired after), but was really happy to have spent time with Virginia, Christina and our new friends. It was a great way to end a Friday night in Hong Kong! 🙂
