A Little Sightseeing, a LOT of shopping in Bangkok!

Today was an extremely long but super fun day which began with us paying a visit to the Reclining Buddha,

before we headed off to a series of shopping malls and street shopping from Sukhumvit Road to Rama Road (Emporium, Gaysorn, Peninsula Plaza, Central World, Siam Square, Siam Paragon… whew! Did I miss anything??)

Here are some of the highlights of the shopping trip 🙂

Super cute earrings! I couldn’t resist getting ones with the colorful teeny tiny animal enamel

I bought that purple koala earrings for myself (below, center)

More earrings!! It was overwhelming to choose. It was so tempting to get a LOT! 🙁

Enamel accessories are pretty popular products here in Thailand.

A lot of enamel bangles! There were bangles that were made with colored natural stones, while there were also those made with Swarovski crystals. These ones below are made with Swarovski crystals– they’re so much cheaper too.

Cute leather mobile phone covers as well as passport holders.

Loving these leather bracelets! My friends hoarded again hahaha. I held back. *I was being a good girl… HAH!!* 😀

I loooved these grosgrain ribbons! I want to come back for them but ugh, now none of us remember which mall this was from because we really went on a mall hopping marathon!

And after the whole day’s worth of walking, tweeting, taking photos, eating, and actually checking out the merchandise from each store, I managed to buy a few things (believe me, I exercised A LOT of restraint!!!)

Here’s my loot!! 🙂 And am proud to say I did not break the bank or anything with these 🙂

Double Rings

This is my favorite ring– I remember getting this inside one of those swankier shops and the price range of this one is much higher– I actually had a choice between this and the King (those enamel rings were part of the Alice in Wonderland series), and opted for the Queen because hahaha I am a queen *puke* and because the ring fit me. It’s by “77th”

Fits like a glove! I better not get fat fingers or else it’s Bye Bye Queen!

And then this double whale enamel bangle. I just found this soooo cute because the whales were chubby 🙂

If fishes bring you luck, do whales count since they’re mammals? 😀

And this enamel ring (yes, it’s a ring– but it also comes in bangle form although I didn’t buy it).

What a loooong day this has been. Though we walked a lot, I doubt any of us lost weight because if we weren’t walking or shopping inside the mall, we’re out on the streets buying food off carts and stuffing ourselves with them hahaha 🙂 But oh wow, I haven’t laughed so much in my life! Practically every other minute we are doubling over with laughter! And though we were hardly getting enough sleep, we were all so relaxed 🙂

Woohoo tomorrow’s another day, so I better get some sleep or else I’ll be tired again tomorrow 🙂
