A “Lesson” in Color Blocking

Yes, this is some kind of a personal “style” post. And hmm… I probably look awkward too hahaha (as someone had once pointed out). But I just want to showcase my *ahem* color blocking prowess *muwahahaha prowess lol. This ain’t rocket science, duh… ok to me it is hahaha*

I love these fluo colors *with the exception of my non-fluo shoes*. Colors like these always look great in photos. The pieces I am wearing are really nothing spectacular on their own, but having them photographed all together makes the photos so alive, so vibrant!  I love it 🙂  *I’m sorry if you don’t likey but hah, let me be shameless and say, I doooo!! :)*

Now I carried 2 different bags in these 2 photos, and I want you to pick out which you think works better with the bright ensemble 🙂

Ok don’t stare at my awkward facial expression above (getting self- conscious about the expression in 3…2…1) * Ok ok why that strange facial expression? I was in the middle of whistling *yes, I whistle like Snow White while she works haha– though yes, I aint no Snow White lol* to get Elvis to come to me, but hah, my camera- shy doggie wouldn’t come anywhere near me because there was a camera pointed in my direction!! Isn’t he precious? So unlike me hahaha cough.. me= cam whore :)* 

Photo makes it look a little green… hmm… but it’s a true neon yellow though 🙂

This is one thing I can say for sure– I declare my love for both bags! The Celine Python Box Bag is a lot more delicate than The Cambridge Satchel (TCSC) and I doubt I’d want to “bang it around” as much as I do with TCSC bag 🙂 But each time I take the Celine bag out of her dustbag, I just gasp. I think though it’d be very difficult to wear the bag with anything denim as the color of the denim might just transfer onto the python skin *that would be bye bye if that happens*.

So how about you peeps– which bag do you prefer for the outfit? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

P.S. Hilarious time while my photos were being taken: Elvis was running around + my kids were laughing/ screaming in the background *because they “freak out” when Elvis runs after them because he ends up licking their ankles and the kids get super grossed out hahaha* And then you have me, screaming for them to stop screaming, calling Elvis to come to me while trying (operative word: trying) to look decent in these photos hahaha 😀 Honestly, I don’t know how these style bloggers do it. Hands down, have so much respect for them because their photos always end up looking sooo natural! Mine look so  contrived all the time hahahaha (no shame in admitting that one, ouch lol)!
