A delayed food- related post :)

*Screams* (hehehe what a way to start the blog post, right?). Ok I don’t like not feeling 100% well, but I’m just grateful I am not sick as a dog (as I initially thought I would).

Doing a bazaar is extremely difficult, and for that, I now have a LOT more respect for professional bazaaristas. I am also grateful that I did that bazaar because I not only met new people, I also got to know a lot of really cool, new products! My best find during the Urban Bazaar though, is something that had helped my health immensely. So as promised, let me tell you why my throat improved.  🙂

It’s because of RAWLICIOUS juice.

Angela and Joanna Lichauco of Rawlicious present juices that are unique and new to the market. They are the pioneers of this in the Philippines (they’re the first ones who made the combinations taste SOOO good!!). They worked extra hard over the weekend to serve us peeps the freshest veggie- fruit juice that healed my throat problem. My favorite is “Green Monster Xavier”– a concoction of romaine lettuce, ginger, pineapple, and banana which encourages healing.
I was a skeptic at first (because I’d rather eat veggies than drink them as juice), but the mixture was done so well *they only use organic honey to sweeten the juice and it’s not even overly sweetened– it’s perfect*. During the first day, I had 4 large cups of their juices (I tried all during the 1st day). During the 2nd day, I had again 4 large cups of the juice (this was the height of my sore throat), and surprisingly, my throat problem improved later in the  afternoon! And on the 3rd day of the bazaar, I went for 3 cups (I would’ve done 4 but I had to leave Rockwell for my DKs’ event in Rustan’s). And today, I woke up without a sore throat 🙂 I can’t say I am completely healed but I can definitely say I feel A LOT better!
You can also visit Rawlicious at the Legaspi Park Organic Market every Sunday from 8am – 2pm. I am just waiting for their delivery service to be available– I’d really like to make their drink a daily habit because it has cleansed my body and helped with my throat, BIG time. Gosh, actually I hope they can be mainstays at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall one day– that would be a big help *hahaha I can lose weight in a healthy way :D*

Oh and let me share the best news I’ve heard this year (hehehe). I am so proud to announce that Philippine Daily Inquirer has named Emerald Garden as one of the top 10 restaurants that serve the best pancit canton in the Philippines 🙂 Incidentally, that’s one of my favorite dishes also in Emerald Garden.  🙂 Congratulations, Emerald Garden 🙂 If DD were alive today, he’d be so happy to read about that.
That’s it for now peeps, I will blog about  bags again tomorrow 🙂

  1. I have to agree with PDI, Emerald Garden’s pancit is a staple in most of the parties I’ve attended in Emerald.

Oh gosh, it’s been ages since I went to Emerald…

  2. I’ll definitely try Rawlicious! 😀 Interested in tasting ginger with pineapple. 🙂 Congrats to Emerald Garden! My sister is addicted to pancit canton and her favorite is Emerald’s pancit canton. Everytime my family and I eat at Emerald we always get free pancit. 😀 Now they’ll be extra in demand! Good for them! 😀

  3. Hi Ms.T! I was in Rockwell the day you shot Rawlicious girls’ picture. I remember them wearing those clothes when I sampled on their concoction and you’re right…they taste sooo good and refreshing.
