Let me just keep this post short because I have a rather nasty throat ache, possibly brought about by my allergies. Ugh 🙁
I’d like to post about an “old” bag today– an “old”, classic bag that has been “reinvented” 🙂
Do you bag- loving girls remember this bag? I can still remember my own Jackie hobo– it was made with black leather and black canvas and has that piston lock. Gucci has reinvented this very style by adding that detachable strap. Now to be honest, I can’t really imagine carrying the bag with that strap. Look at the bag when carried:
It just might look a tad awkward if carried with the detachable strap, no? The bag already looks good as a hobo. It might have been Gucci’s attempt to update the classic style because of late, it’s already become somewhat of a standard to have a detachable strap for all the newer bags.
Without that strap, I think this is a good bag to have. It’s certainly so much better than the 90s version of the canvas- leather bag 🙂 This all- leather Jackie looks a lot sturdier too!
