If there is any one element that makes Roberto Cavalli’s collection come out on top, it’s his consistency in paying full and close attention to detail.
Here’s a closeup of one of the runway bags. Bold gold chain.
Flowy and suggestively-sexy-but-without-being-overly-so long dresses with lace and lasercut details
against monochromatic jackets and printed ones with strong shoulders,
fluo- collared shirts and trousers
only spell one word about a woman: power.
Cavalli has always succeeded in championing the woman’s body,
and this collection is yet another testament to his talent at such. What a great way to close Milan Fashion Week!
Oh and P.S. I’m loving that I finally got to see Liz Hurley with her fiancé Australian cricketer Shane Warne,
and songbird Leona Lewis who smiled for my camera 🙂
It’s not often I get to enjoy these celebrity sightings up close 🙂
Roberto and Eva take a bow…
