Whee, My Wikipedia Entry!

Sometime last year, I was introduced and referred to “digital architect” Tony Ahn by my friend Daphne. Tony contacted me and offered to work on my Wikipedia page, which at the time of his suggestion made me laugh. “A Wikipedia entry??” I questioned Tony laughingly. But Tony had insisted off the bat that since I had online presence (or a semblance of it haha), it was a good idea to work on a page for me. I laughed again, thinking that Wikipedia was really only public people– those in politics and in the entertainment industry.

I was glad to have had that opportunity to get to know Tony because for someone like me who has been “living” in cyberspace for over 8 years, I knew absolutely nothing about it! I know, shameful! Thankfully, Tony patiently explained everything in detail and highlighted the need for people as well as companies– small, medium, and large entities alike, to have a Wikipedia page. In a nutshell, Wikipedia is really the online Encyclopedia.

Over the course of the next few months (I think I’d have sped up the process if I were more cooperative with the materials he would confirm and ask of me), Tony would again, very patiently collect information off me before he put everything together on one page. He has done this for other Philippine personalities  as well as several companies and now he has made one for me.

I am so honored to have been given this wonderful opportunity and today, the entry on me made it to the front page of Wikipedia 🙂

For those of you interested in having a WIKIPEDIA entry for your businesses (this is very helpful and gives your companies more credibility), please do contact TONY AHN at tony@tonyahn.com or through his mobile at (+63919) 999-5908. Tony would be the best person to work on your page because he is very patient and very thorough with collecting the right information, making sure all sources have been properly credited. He definitely has his work cut out for him and deserves to be called a digital architect!! 🙂

Thank you so much, Tony!!!
