What I Wore in Paris…

I am not a style blogger (haha so please be kind in judging what I wear haha). I make a lot of fashion mistakes but I own up to them in some way :). Today, I figured I’d share some of the photos my friends took of me during Fashion Week. These are some of them from Paris. There are a bit more from Milan, but perhaps it’s best I’ll save them for another blog post some other time.

I believe this was taken on the first day of Paris Fashion Week.

Furla glasses, Zara dress and jacket, Hermes Kelly bag

The yellow Zara dress I wore has to be one of the most popular dresses during Milan Fashion Week as I saw this piece on every other girl. I never wore the dress in Milan, but I did in Paris. I paired it with a Zara fluo orange jacket which also happens to be one of the most popular pieces from the clothing brand. I love color blocking. It’s seriously so much fun. I just pray that I don’t do it wrong!

It was a Tod’s Day, and I really just wanted to be comfortable.  Oh and did I mention the weather was getting very warm? And I had brought a suitcase full of thick clothing. Major fail!

Like a lady 😀 I braided my hair too because it was just too hot and I couldn’t stand my hair sticking at the back of my neck *I know, gross haha* ! But hmm now I’m not too sure about the pairing with the booties. What say you?

I like this casual look. Also because I love my clutch. It’s by Mark Cross. But I was wearing something else earlier in the day. I had to change because I became a walking sweat pit. I attended a show at the Espace Ephemere at the Tuileries and the heat inside the tent was unbearable that I began sweating profusely *along with every other person inside the tent*. My dress was not in this breathable fabric so it began to stain *OMG*. I was glad I didn’t sit down or I’d have two little butt cheek imprints on the back of my dress as well *embarrassing*. When everyone rushed out to leave the “oven”, I stayed on and then went on to face the huge industrial fan to cool myself and dry my dress. I stood there with burly photographers who were also drenched in their own sweat. We had a great laugh about it, but it was NOT a good sight. I walked out of the hall looking fresh as anything after 🙂 But rushed home to change into what you see in the photo. I could not risk another embarrassing moment like that– but hah, it had to be told here 🙂 Sorry though, no photos! 🙂
Ella Moss knit sweater, COS white pants, Accessory Lab bib necklace, Tod’s ballerinas, Mark Cross  clutch

This was taken inside one of the shows. I was not channeling Anna Wintour by wearing glasses at the show. Haha I only wore these for the photograph because I had raccoon eyes (hadn’t gotten much sleep during Fashion Week). So there 🙂
Zara knit top, Jo No Fui necklace from LuisaViaRoma, COS pants

Well that’s all there is for now. Hope you are enjoying your Wednesday! I’m super glad we have this mini holiday today since I was able to make some seafood pasta for the kids 🙂 I’m off for a quick bath before I head out and meet a friend for dinner. Enjoy the night, peeps!
