Walnut Creek: My turf!

Guess what!! I just found out yesterday that my town sent 3 Olympians to Beijing 🙂 That’s pretty cool, I think! I need to figure out though if they won medals or not 😀 But no matter, I’m still proud *even if I don’t know them– haha and that makes me a dont-know-their-names name dropper hahaha*

Anyway, today we decided to go out of the house and into our local street mall in Walnut Creek which is about 15 minutes from our place. So for all of you, here’s what my “turf” looks like 🙂

Labels is a consignment store with all these designer bags and apparel. The thing about this place is, they also sold fakes! I have NO idea why this store was even allowed to operate. Too bad though, this time, I wasn’t able to go into the store because by the time I got there, they were already closed.

Footcandy. I love this store. This is where I would get my designer shoe fix. Unfortunately, again, they were closed. *SOB*

Tiffany. Yes, we have a big Tiffany store in my little town 🙂

Pottery Barn.If I had to decorate my home, I’d get everything here for the kids’ room

Giggles. If you have just given birth, this would be a great place to buy furniture and baby gear. Huge shop too!

Calypso. I like this store– all the furniture being sold are sooo happy and festive looking!

Broadway Plaza. Shops like Sur La Table, Lucky Jeans, Juicy Couture, Sephora, Crate and Barrel, Betsey Johnson, Talbots, David M. Brian, Brighton, Kate Spade, Janie and Jack, Simayof, Davidson and Licht, Benetton, Victoria’s Secret, Nordstrom call Broadway Plaza their home.

Then there are these smaller shops like La Lavande (I love this store– it’s so French country .. Provence comes to mind actually).

Then there’s also Restoration Hardware, H&M, and Williams Sonoma
Funny, I saw a new restaurant called Bing Crosby’s Restaurant and Piano Lounge.. Since when did that open?

Anyway, it was a good evening. We ended up eating at an old haunt, Kaiwa Sushi. Small place. And greatness, my camera battery died, so no food photos *ugh*.

That’s all for now. I’m heading out to the city in a bit because we are meeting a friend LL from Paris who’s in town for dinner. 😉
