TRESOR MAKATI update + Weekend Blahs

Thanks so much for your nice SMS and emails. I really did feel so lousy yesterday that the only thing that would’ve cured me *temporarily* was some retail therapy *muwahahaha the perfect medication!*

So I was checking out eluxury.com (again). And hey, Louis Vuitton came out with a new Suhali color…I actually like the Suhali Le Fabuleux in white or blue or maybe even plum *though I notice the growing presence of plum bags in my closet right now* 😀 (But noooo, not brown Suhali please). The Le Fab costs Php 200K! Thank goodness I was really too sick to go to LV, or else, hello I’d probably have signed my life away at the dotted line and brought home something I don’t seem to recall ever buying (selective amnesia at work *muwahaha*). Oh wait, who said I have that high a credit limit on my credit card to buy that bag anyway?! *chortle feeling VIP at LV again… AS IF!!!* (Ohmygawd I just remembered, this is a bit off topic, but my friendly SA at LV, Abby, has left the brand!! Horrors, now I have no SA– I think it’s a sign that I should stop buying at LV hahaha… wait… you think??)

Sigh, I’m such a wretched woman for thinking evil thoughts! I guess that’s the peril of having a pretty blah weekend– blah because I still don’t feel that well. 🙁 That, and this lingering thought that maybe I’m being punished by the credit card gods for being so abusive to their “constituents” *muwhahahaha*

Ok enough nasty thoughts, I need shuteye. I didn’t take my medicine and I think I need to– to keep myself from thinking miserable thoughts. I am having purchase withdrawals because I know I don’t have funds anymore. In fact, I might have to give up my LV damier Alma *oh my gawd, my birthday pressie to myself!!!* just to have enough moolie-oos to pay for my plum Chanel! *err, yes that bag is still on my mind thank you :D*

On the upside of this day, I got a new pile of consigned bags 🙂 *Newly consigned bags are always a picker upper 😀 I get first dibssssss!!! WOoohoOooO!!!*

Anyway, here’s a peek at what’s new at TRESOR MAKATI by way of THEBAGHAG blog (yes yes, sorry I haven’t updated TRESOR yet. A lot of bags have just come in and since I was down and out yesterday, I am just slowly recouping and collating all the new stuff which include– Anya Hindmarch, Hogan, Prada, Luella Bartley, YSL, LV, Kate Spade, Lambertson Truex, Cartier, and Fendi).

BALENCIAGA This light rose twiggy is in excellent condition. The handles on the bag have very slight dirt that’s not yet so obvious, but overall the bag looks good. The body of the bag has some spots (part of the leather), and there are some small scratches which again, look like it’s part of the leather. The corners have light dirt scuffs. The detachable shoulder strap has a small scratch. Measures 15″L x 6.5″W x 7″H. Shape resembles that of an LV Speedy. Will come with the dustbag, extra tassles, mirror, and tags. TRESOR PRICE: Php 68,000.

LOUIS VUITTONCipango Gold epi petit noe is in very good condition. The bag was repaired at LV, according to the owner, but I personally can’t see which part got repaired. The whole bag’s leather is still very nice and stiff, and has minimal visible dirt throughout the body. The hardware grommets have oxidized (but this can be cleaned with a metal polisher). The strap of the bag has dirt, hardware oxidized as well. Measures 9″ x 11″. Bag will come with the dustbag. A brand new epi petit noe now will set you back by 58k. TRESOR PRICE: Php 17,000. **THIS IS REAL CHEAP!**

This Monogram Papillon 26 is in good condition. The thing with this bag is, the handle straps have just been replaced so they are nice and pale and new! The body of the papillon has the old cowhide trims so there is already a patina. The interior of the bag is real clean. Measures 10″ x 6″. This bag will come with the dustbag. A brand new papillon 26 is 36K+. TRESOR PRICE: Php 25,000.

LUELLA BARTLEY
This is a beautiful bubblegum pink baby Gisele bag by Luella Bartley. This was also the original design of Luella, and this bag even made it to Time Magazine’s “hot bags” list. The Gisele was once likened to a Hermes birkin (well they don’t really look anywhere near, but I guess it’s the “belt enclosures”), and was at one point very hard to get. The waitlist was really long! This pebbled leather, scratch-resistant bag is in excellent like new condition, overall very clean throughout the body with no visible marks. Very light scuffing at the corners of the bag. One dirtmark on the handle strap of the bag (this gets covered up by the belt enclosure). Interior is very clean and has 2 pockets. Measures 11.5″L x 9.5″H x 5.5″W. Will come with the dustbag and Luella tag. TRESOR PRICE: Php 30,000.

I was sick 🙁 Now my own famille left for HK for a few days of R&R sans moi. *BAWL* (But hey, really this is a good thing– that way I can’t spend money that I don’t have.
