TRAVELOG: Thebaghag goes on a ROADTRIP!!

Clap your hands, come on. I deserve a few rounds of a loud applause. I have successfully driven 6.5 hours from San Francisco to Los Angeles. And that’s with a carful of noisy kiddos 😀 and another car following us *my DBs and the other kids*.

We left the house at 2:00pm and reached LA city limits in 6.5 hours, with 2 stopovers. Not bad. I drove an average of 85 miles per hour *do me proud baby*, and thank goodness I was not pulled over for speeding! *Lord knows I don’t need another one… my last one was 10 years ago and I’ve been “clean” ever since hahaha… let me not push my luck too far…*

Anyway, we are staying at the Doubletree Hotel. The hotel is only 8 months old, so it’s real new and real nice.

We booked into a nice guest suite which had a spacious living room with a pullout bed, a separate bedroom,
and two queen beds inside each bedroom with a throw pillow that wrote “Sweet Dreams”.

Indeed, I will rest easy tonight since I am dead tired from the uber long drive *and we were in fact thinking of doing a roadtrip to Las Vegas! *INSANE 10 HOURS!!!* No thanks. Not after that long drive 😀

We ended up walking to Denny’s for a quick bite with all the kids. Yours truly had the “Super Bird”– turkey sandwich with swiss cheese and bacon *yummmmy*.

Tomorrow (or rather today) is boxing day. THE BIGGEST YEAR-END sale of the year! Will we be going to South Coast Plaza tomorrow *The mall of O.C.*?

I am hoping for it, but well my DB might have other plans… like Disneyland, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Knottsberry Farm…. *oh my oh my there goes our shopping plans haha*
